This is a fantastic restaurant. The service was fantastic, friendly & prompt. The food could not have been better. We've had Ethiopian in NYC & other places & this is easily on the list of best places. The spices, flavors & bread are great. Servings are very generous. We had way too much food, in fact. We ordered the tasting menu of meat & veggies for 3 people & the vegan platter for 1 person (which is such a great option, usually tasting menus have to be for a whole table, this allowed us so much freedom) - & we could not finish it all. We didn't have room for dessert. The wine menu is good, not great & the house cocktails tend to be based in fresh juices so they are sweet. & when they say spicy, it actually is - which is so great, usually restaurants warn, but it's kinda not spicy. The diversity of flavors was so fantastic I wish I could have eaten here all day. Eat here, go here, enjoy your evening. Oh, & the serving staff is so nice!

Ate here with friends before the tour de nuit. Great fuel for a 22km cycle ride! Never disappoints always yummy & the tasting menu is a great way to sample lots of dishes. Will return
Had the tasting menu, if you are new to Ethiopian cuisine, would suggest to take this. The portions are enough. Some of the items could have been better. Overall a good place to visit. It gets quite full, reservation is recommended.
Beautiful chic decor. Amazing food. Fantastic cocktails. Wonderful experience. You need to like different spices & flavours in order to truly appreciate the experience. Highly recommend the tasting menu !
first of all, a big thanks to Le Nil Bleu for accommodating a party of 10 with less than 2 hrs notice. food is INCREDIBLE, service is 10/10, fantastic value for the money, even the desserts were amazing. the tasting menu was a fantastic choice, & there is a vegan version available. all dishes are made without nuts, as well. can't say enough good things about Nil Bleu, from really great food to warm, welcoming & attentive staff. 5 stars!
A really wonderful experience! Servers were great at helping us explore the menu - we wound up with two tasting menus for our party of 4 that gave us a great mix of different dishes.

This was my second visit. I love the food here & the atmosphere is cosy. We had the tasting menu—a good selection of delicious dishes. I look forward to my next visit.
The service was attentive & not obtrusive, the tasting menu is well balanced & delicious. For a first visit, it's a great idea! We had a wonderful time
Great decor & atmosphere! More importantly, the food was excellent. My brother & I had the tasting menu & we enjoyed the variety of flavors. We'll be back.
A very relaxed ambience with great customer service. From the moment we entered the door, the waitress welcomed us & made us feel comfortable. We had the tasting appetizers & main dish, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the various delicious cuisines on the menu. My partner & I agree we will definitely call again soon!

Absolutely amazing! We came here for a bachelorette & our party consisted of both vegans & non-vegans & everybody was blown away by the selection & how good the food was.
Highly recommend the tasting menu (both vegan & regular). Incredibly selection of dishes on both & they have a nice balance of protein & vegetables.
We ordered the vegetarian tasting menu & LOVED it. Everything was so full of flavor, vibrantly colored & beautifully presented. It was far more food than we could finish & the leftovers were every bit as delicious the next day for lunch. The ambiance of Le Nil Bleu is classy & relaxed at the same time. Date night, family dinner, casual night out all would be comfortable there. We will be back!
I went here last night for my Birthday. We ordered the tasting menu & it was amazing. We paired it with several drinks & it made for a wonderful night. They brought me a small dessert with a sparkler & sang for me. It was very nice & we will be returning again. I highly recommend this restaurant
When we arrived for our reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes & then after finally being seated we were asked to move tables. This wasn't the best start to our evening BUT the food & service was so great otherwise that we completely forgot about it. We had the tasting menu, which was delicious & well presented. Will certainly be visiting again.
Wonderful food & atmosphere, excellent service, ambiance that invites lingering. I've been coming here for 3 years & it just keeps getting better. I recommend the tasting menu + dessert cake.
We visited the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary & I have to say the staff made the night memorable! We were given the best table in the house by the window facing Rue St. Denis & from the moment we walked in were made to feel special. Each server made sure to acknowledge our anniversary, & our main server even made us complimentary drinks which we superb to celebrate the occasion. The food - spectacular! We had the tasting menu which I'd highly recommend - it was wonderful blend of spices. We will definitely be returning in the future.
