Dommage, car cela peut être une bouchée rafraichissante parmi les plats plus épicés. Le service est en général sympathique, mais la personne qui nous servait hier soir avait probablement oublié à quoi sert un sourire...

The staff was very welcoming & made us really comfortable from the minute we went through the entrance door. The food, which we comfortably ate using our bare hands - was so delicious & out of this world - we had chicken sambusa for starters &, for the main dishes, yeassa tibbs & zizil tibbs. The time between ordering our food & getting it served was reasonably short. This was my second time eating at this place &, for the second time running, I really had a blast. Probably the best African restaurant there is in Montreal!
Absolutely delicious! The ambience was wonderful with piano playing & people smiling. The service was great & so friendly & even offered us free dessert but we were too stuffed from our massive incredible dinner! 100% adding this place to my favourite restaurants! Plus we're vegan & the fact they had a whole section for us to choose from is very cool! Yummmm
3.5 étoiles. Je le recommande La nourriture est bonne, prix adéquat, belle endroit . Comme plusieurs nous y sommes allés avec le menu dégustation, Plus précisément celui avec de la viande. Pour vivre un immersion dans le monde de l'Éthiopie, ce n'est pas l'endroit du à l'apparence physique du restaurant & au manque de chaleur mis sur sur le service. Qui était par contre adéquat. Nous vous en faites pas, vous allez tout de même bien manger & gouter à l'Éthiopie. Ne pas oublier qu'il faut manger avec les mains si vous voulez vous rapprocher à une meilleure immersions.
Neat & nicely set, even the basement & its bathroom stalls. Service is 4stars, for a restaurant on this street, it is pretty upscale. For food, I'd give more than 4 stars, but there is no option to give .5 stars. Loved it the first time I went for my birthday dinner & went to try another Ehiopian but returned here after comparison. So we will definitely go back again.
C'est toujours aussi bon mais malheureusement, j'ai l'impression que les portions ont diminué. C'est la 1ère fois que j'ai encore faim après avoir terminé mon plat. Quel dommage !!!
C'était un restaurant accueillant, j'ai eu un service impeccable. Il y a eu quelque petits qui mon fait donner juste 4 étoiles, comme les factures qui était mélangé. JE recommande ce restaurant & j'y retournerai avec plaisir.
La nourriture était bonne mes invités ont adoré !
Nous avons beaucoup aimé le cadre qui était très joli & moderne, la nourriture qui était très bonne & les serveuses qui étaient adorables. Petits points perfectibles : un des plats de viande légèrement salé, un peu d'attente pour le vin, erreur dans la commande mais rien de très dommageable dans cette expérience culinaire. Mais cela nous donne tout de même envie de revenir car l'univers de ce restaurant change par rapport à ce qu'on a connu.

Belle ambiance ! bel accueil ! service très satisfaisante ! pour le prix du repas il est abordable & pas trop cher ! la dégustation est la meilleure repas que j'ai mangé, le goût des épices ! je recommande à mes amis(es)
We come to Nil Bleu every time we visit Montréal. We had a really nice dinner & the food was excellent as always.
As we were finishing, we were asked to hurry up as another group was waiting & was angry they were not seated. Our total time for a group of 7 was about 1 1/2 hours & our bill was over 400 dollars. Our reservation was for 7:30, but we were accommodated to arrive at 7 as we were ahead of schedule. I am wondering what would have happened if we arrived at our regular time & only had one hour to dine.
Feeling hurried at the end took away a bit from the overall pleasant dining experience.
