Absolutely love this restaurant, third time there & we took the tasting platter for 2....never disappoints. Portions seem to have gotten a little smaller from what I remember but the taste is delicious. Highly recommend if you wanna try something different.

Bonne découverte & première fois dans un restaurant éthiopien. La nourriture est savoureuse & le fait de manger sans couverts ajoute beaucoup de convivialité. Le service était impeccable. La salle du bas est plus agréable car moins bruyante pour discuter.
Mon restaurant préféré de la ville ! C'est la première adresse que je recommande à mes ami.e.s de passage à Montréal. Plats savoureux, service agréable, bonne ambiance, que demander de plus ?
Magnifique restaurant! Une mélodie des goûts & un tel plaisir des yeux! Notre famille & nos amis de plus en plus nombreux autour de nous sont toujours satisfaits. On a envie d'y revenir sans arrêt & on est toujours tellement bien accueillis avec un service impeccable & une hygiène sans défaut.

This was my second time going there with my daughter & we get first class service, I was impressed! The inside was Warm & cozy, Lovely decor, Very classy & romantic. The food was AMAZING!!! & still the same, still great, The hummus was different than others I've tried, also the injera was so so delicious, everything we ordered was delicious. The staff were very friendly & helpful making recommendations. The Bathrooms are very interesting too. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Montreal who want to try something new! It is the best Ethiopian food we have ever had We will return. Five out of five. Well done! I read the reviews & people complaint that the service is slow ,it was quick for me & I am satisfied.
The experience at Blue Nile was truly like no other. The food & service was overall good aside for some weird comments from a waiter. However, the aftermath was nothing short of bad. 8 out of the 11 people in our group had terrible stomach pain lasting more than a day. We called the restaurant & were informed that our stomachs were just too weak to handle the meat. They also told us that the tartare might be the culprit as it was meant to be eaten within 5 minutes of being served; a warning we never got. Overall, I give it 2 stars as it was a memorable night (for the wrong reasons) & a unique group bonding experience.
Very, very noisy the evening we went (Oct. 21, 2023 after 7.30 pm). Ruined our evening a little bit, but we will be back for the food & the nice atmosphere, when things are quieter!

My friends & I had a great dinner at Nil Bleu. As it was our first times trying Ethiopian food, the waiters were helpful in telling us about the dishes & portion sizes.
As a group of 4 we got the vegetarian sampler for 2, & then ordered two additional meat dishes off the menu. It was more than enough food for us all as there was even some leftover.
I would highly recommend them for their food, & service. Great flavours to their dishes.
Wonderful experience! Inviting & relaxing atmosphere, pleasant, personable & professional service & excellent Ethiopian cuisine. Best Doro Wat I've had in a long time. Will be back!
I really enjoy this restaurant. The vegan combo plate is simply delicious. They have a great menu offering several speciality Ethiopian dishes. The staff is friendly & welcoming. I definitely recommend this restaurant. My friend & I had a wonderful evening eating delicious food & speaking with the friendly waiters.
The fresh taste combined perfectly with the ambiance to provide an amazing balance of a dining experience. The exotic flair added a special song to the time I was there.
