The food was great & we really enjoyed the tasting menu. Unfortunately the waiter didn't seem to be very happy doing his job & he smelled like cigarettes.
Outstanding service & the food is amazing! We have never been disappointed with our experience at Le Nil Bleu. Brought my friend who had her first Ethiopian meal ever, & she was delighted!
This was my 1st experience with this kind of cousine. It was fantastic. We got the tasting menu for 2 & it was a beautiful presentation & wonderfully flavored. The staff was attentive & friendly. Our server explained the food & was very pleasant. The bathroom was beautifully renovated. However, if I wanted to see my hair, I would have to bend over to look in the mirror. There was a wodden decorative panel that blocked my view from the chest up. There is a lovely water feature on the stairs giving a nice atmosphere. I would go again without question.
I am an ethiopian & i was so happy with how authentic the tastes were especially the injera itself. I recommend to order the plate to share because you can taste a lot of ethiopian food on one plate. I loved the Alicha siga wat, the cabbage with carrots, the kitfo from the appetizers & the tibs. I loved the presentation & the quantity of food.
J'aurais aimé savoir dès le départ que la table était réservée pour un autre groupe après nous (notre réservation était à 18h & l'autre réservation était à 19h30). Au lieu de cela, deux serveurs nous ont dit deux fois chacun qu'il fallait libérer la table, en s'excusant, bien sûr, mais avec un désagréable sentiment d'urgence. Une conclusion bien ordinaire pour un souper d'anniversaire.
