Le Nil Bleu on St-Denis Street in Le Plateau is a rare Ethiopian restaurant to offer flavourful, yet exotic meals that patrons keep going back for. The cuisine at Le Nil Bleu is composed of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Le Nil bleu also offers combo plates which allow diners to sample several offerings. The exotic decor features art, musical instruments and print fabrics. The environment is intimate and relaxing. We now offer delivery!

I hate giving five stars on every category because it means it couldn't get any better. Well, I would say the Blue Nile is pretty close to that. The food was great. The Service was great & the atmosphere is perfect.

Food was excellent, with good options for vegans & vegetarians. Fairly fancy restaurant, so meal ended up on the expensive side. Service left something to be desired. Definitely felt rushed to order & rushed to pay by the server.

Beautiful restaurant, it's dark & romantic vibes , food was fresh & delicious, the injera was soft & yummy , its my first time eating ethiopian food , the service was friendly & nice , filet mignon is my favourite

Nous avons pris le menu vegan avec entrées & plats principaux. Chaque plat était plus délicieux que le prochain. Les légumes rôti sont très savoureux & les lentilles étaient un préféré aussi, mais chaque option était vraiment fraîche & bien préparé. La service était très professionnelle & gentille. J'ai hâte de y retourner car il était un de mes meilleurs repas à Montréal.

The Blue Nile was recommended to us, so we went while enjoying an overnight in Montreal. It was a warm evening in October, & we were seated by the front window with a great view on Rue Denis. The serving staff & chef were exceptionally attentive, & the food & drinks were delicious. I look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended.
