Super service ! Menu varié & délicieux. Ambiance calme & romantique. Ils ont même compris que c'était pour un anniversaire & nous on apporté un shooter sans que l'on ne demande rien. :)
Décor, Ambiance, service. Impécable.
Nourriture: a ce lecher les doigts & c'est le cas de le dire. Nous avons adéré
Mais....Les tables pour deux, dans le passage de l'entrée & des servceurs.....hum. A revoir. Surtout que nous avions reservé 2 mois a l'avance!
Writing this review is a little conflicting, we enjoyed the service mostly, it was relatively slow because of a busy night but the staff kept their positive attitudes. One issue we felt is that we had a reservation & upon arrival a table was not available for us. That's fine we wait, but once seated we go to the washroom to wash our hands & walk by a mostly empty dining room with a few couples, the entire time we waited we could have been seated in their second dining room... What?! Food is nice & prepared with love, however not necessarily worth the detour & hassle we felt. Portions are large & generous, this isn't a bad restaurant.

By far our favorite Ethiopian restaurant. One of the main reasons we couldn't wait to come back to Montreal… Very friendly service. Can't recommend enough!

If you're looking for the best Ethiopian food in Montreal, look no further than Blue Nile! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm & inviting, & the service was truly exceptional. Nedia went above & beyond, making us feel like valued guests. She even walked us out personally & thanked us for coming-such a thoughtful touch! As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. The vegetarian options were bursting with flavor, especially the gomen, which was absolutely the best I've ever had. Each dish was perfectly spiced, fresh, & beautifully presented, making it clear that the chefs at Blue Nile know exactly what they're doing. The entire experience-amazing food, impeccable service, & a welcoming ambiance-earned them a solid 5 stars in my book. Highly recommend this gem to anyone craving authentic, delicious Ethiopian cuisine in Montreal!
Absolutely incredible restaurant. The food, the vibes, the staff were all amazing. Definitely one of my top meals of 2024. We had the tasting plate & if I could've licked the plate I would've. Definitely recommend for a date night or with friends. Also the price & the quality of the food is fantastic too. Thank you Nil Bleu!
