Le Nil Bleu on St-Denis Street in Le Plateau is a rare Ethiopian restaurant to offer flavourful, yet exotic meals that patrons keep going back for. The cuisine at Le Nil Bleu is composed of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Le Nil bleu also offers combo plates which allow diners to sample several offerings. Très bon repas, menu dégustation délicieux au fil des ans. Très beau décor. Bruyant & tables de deux très collées sur les autres. Nous avons littéralement mangé avec nos voisins de table & leur bébé.

A wonderful experience! We enjoyed our meal every bit as much as the previous evening's dinner at a famous (>$300 for two!) place in Old Montreal.
Can't wait to come back with friends next time!

We visited the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary & I have to say the staff made the night memorable! We were given the best table in the house by the window facing Rue St. Denis & from the moment we walked in were made to feel special. Each server made sure to acknowledge our anniversary, & our main server even made us complimentary drinks which we superb to celebrate the occasion. The food - spectacular! We had the tasting menu which I'd highly recommend - it was wonderful blend of spices. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Food here is incredibly delicious, so full of flavor. They may have been understaffed the night we were there as the servers seemed a bit stressed. Definitely one of my favorite places in Montreal.
