For a restaurant of this price point, I found the service & guest experience quite mediocre. Let me list you a few reasons why:
1) There was no hostess or anyone greeting us at the door. I was waiting there for 5 minutes until I had to wave down a server & ask if where I was standing was in fact the hostess stand.
2) The table d'hôte menu did list enough information regarding the choices. The server was left having to explain & present too much information that left the guest forgetting what was presented. The presentation of missing table d'hote information took approximately 2 whole minutes.
3) When asked if we'd like anything to drink, we responded yes, & requested 2 glasses of wine. The wine took 15 minutes to arrive at the table.
4) There was no check up done to ask if the food was to my liking after the first or second course of my table d'hote, only the main course.
5) I was not offered another glass of wine.
6) After finishing my coffee, 15 minutes elapsed & I was not asked if I wanted anything else or my bill. I had to to the bar inside (we were on the terasse) & the bartender had to go drag the server out from the kitchen where she was hanging out.
Having said this, the atmosphere was great & the food was well prepared.

J'ai déjeuné (midi)
Entré réussi plat de résistance raté.
& je n'ai pas aimé l'essai de créativité du duo magret + canard confit.
Mieux vos resté sur l'un ou l'autre.
D'ailleurs le magret était trop cuit (j'avais demandé saignant).
Le canard était pas trop mal, par contre la purée était sèche non digne d'un restaurant à se prix.
Bref j'ai trouvé que se restaurant était trop cher pour la qualité dégusté.
Hadn't been in a few years. My wife & I & another couple had supper there. Food & presentation was OK but not worth the price in my opinion. We all had something different & none looked or tasted appatizing enough to get a higher rating.

Everything was absolutely OUTSTANDING. The food was to die for! The service incredible & atmosphere breathtaking!! Was completely blown away. Highly recommend!!

The atmosphere is inviting & elegant, striking the perfect balance between comfort & sophistication. We always look forward to our next visit.
Très belle expérience culinaire. Des plats goûteux & bien présentés. Excellent choix de vin & des desserts absolument divins. Leurs profiteroles & leur crème brûlée à essayer. Le seul bémol, très bruyant sur la terrasse à cause des très nombreux avions qui partent de Dorval. Parfois, on ne s'entendait pas parler.

Nice restaurant with Mediterranean menue & very nice atmosphere. Building is from the 18. hundred & the terrace has a nice feel with illuminations & a garden.
Menue is pricey but worth it.
You can have a menue with appetizer, salad, main dish for 38-66CAD$.
We had the tasty veal scallopini with spinach.
dessert also to be recommended.

Excellent!! Charming Old World eatery in Pointe Claire Village on a small side street, includes a small outside patio to enjoy a cool drink & the summer breeze. The food has always been Michelin quality! Slightly pricy, but well worth saving your pennies for. You will not regret this gourmet stop, but check the hours.
I found the service excellent, staff was extremely friendly & helpful. The food itself especially for the price wasn't that impressive. Nothing was bad just I felt underwhelmed for the price. The venue itself is warm, cozy & rustic.
Dinned at Le Gourmand yesterday & was disappointed in the food. I had the tilapia with rice pilaf & the rice was bad (inedible even). My friends had the braised veal linguini & they also didn't like it. Service was excellent, water always filled & our waiter had a bit of sass which we enjoyed. All in all, not the best experience like we usually have, food wise.
Cozy unique spot in Pointe Claire with good food & great service. Laid-back yet classy atmosphere with a small menu & intimate feel. We came here on a Thursday night & the place was almost fully booked. They were able to accommodate us on short notice & although it was quite loud, the space had good energy.
