Super belle découverte au Darling Bar. L'ambiance est vraiment agréable, l'endroit était plein lors de notre visite mais le service est resté rapide & efficace, ce qui est toujours apprécié. Le décor est funky, original & donne beaucoup de personnalité au lieu. Bref, un très bel endroit pour prendre un verre & passer une bonne soirée entre amis. Je recommande ! 🍸

Best spot in Montréal. Food is unpretentious but creative & absolutely delicious. Atmosphere is gorgeous & eclectic. Visited twice while we were in Montreal. Service is slightly slow but staff is friendly.
Great neighbourhood bar for us that live on the Plateau. I like the place most when it's not really busy, but during the Thursday, Friday & Saturday afternoons/evenings it's going to get busy & loud. If you're meeting friends there, like I said, nice place, but too loud for discussions. More of a party bar when later in the evening. I've eaten there twice & I will not do that again. Surprised how they represent the kitchen as a part of the place & it's not really good.
Then the beer. I always go for the draft beer & I have to admit that I'm disappointed in the Boréale selection they have. I have noticed that more & more pubs in the area offer this beer which is so far from a proper European beer it's a bit sad to think about what beer drinkers here are missing out on.
Cute bar! Came for drinks & oysters. Nice atmosphere inside but the tables are quite close, we were 2 people in a really awkward little table that felt like it was in the way, which slightly ruined the ambiance. (3 stars for this reason)
We tried the lieux vins commun riesling which was delicious !
We had the saumon tartare & it was good (lacking a bit of flavour) however it was served with 4 mini chips, would have been nice if if had a few more to enjoy the dish.
Oysters were yummy, we were accidentally served 1 less than ordered & the staff was nice to go & it get with an extra!
I did find it took a while to be able to order a drink when we first sat down, & to get the 2 glasses of wine as well, but the waitress was friendly.
I wouldn't be running back here for drinks or food.
It's a cute place. The staff was so friendly. It's just it was so loud & packed that it was very difficult to have a conversation. I would still come back, but on a less busy night.
