Very vibey, great for all occasions, dates, solo drinks & bites at the bar…
One of my favourites places to go to whenever I'm in Montreal! I've been for brunch, dinner & late night drinks until closing. Service is always great, food is tasty & the drinks are SO good. Literally let the bartenders make whatever drink they want & I've yet to be disappointed.
I walked into this spot very last minute & the staff was so lovely & amazing. I came for brunch but the waitress said it turns into a bar in the evening & I will be coming back here. Ugh & the food was incredible.
Great brunch spot with a very nice terrace; gets expensive quickly with drinks though!
Great atmosphere, a large space that doesn't make you feel uncomfortable even when it's full. The foods great, the waiters are friendly & very accommodating. I have been here 3 times & each time has been a wonderful experience . Oh the focaccia is simply delicious . Have only been late evening , so will definitely try their brunch
So this review is long overdue as I've been coming here pretty frequently for the better part of 3 years because it has now turned into'my spot.' Over those 3 years I have brought everyone I know & have recommended this place countless times when I've been asked for a'Montreal vibe' of a restaurant & it's exactly that. Whether it's Monday or Saturday night this place is packed & rightly so + it doubles as a cafe in the morning with brunch on the weekends that smacks. The food has NEVER missed & I quite literally mean never, they have something for everyone + it changes & they have specials sometimes. The vibe is ever present & I know no better way of explaining it other than'it feels like Montreal.' The service also never misses & I thank Laurence for that, she's honestly been amazing every single time I've came. This isn't an add by the way*** I could go on but it's getting long. I just genuinely love this place so much & they deserve alll the business.
If you're looking for a cute Instagram-able place for brunch in Montreal this is it. The atmosphere is very unique with a variety of obscure artifacts & fixtures, almost like an eye spy book.
What an absolute gem. there is not a time of day le darling is not amazing - in the weekend mornings they have some of the best brunch in the entire city & at night, the bar is such an amazing vibe. food here is amazing & diverse, with a constantly changing menu that is incredibly flavorful & creative. my hat goes off to le darling, it will forever be one of my favorites. my tip, get the london fog. best london fog ever.
Service courtois, souriant & chaleureux, merci Matthew 10/10
Looking for a unique Sunday brunch spot that feels like you've stepped into a museum? This cool place in Montreal's Plateau is exactly where you need to be. It's not just about eating; it's an experience. You can even bring your own cup, adding to that personal touch. The breakfast? Out of this world. Service is speedy & super friendly, with a team that's totally on their game. Plus, there's a bar, making it a prime spot for evening vibes too. Whether it's the artful decor or the vibrant atmosphere, trust me, it's a venue you won't forget.
I came across this bar while bar-hoping with my friends & we all agreed that it would be the perfect place for a date. So I went back with my boyfriend the week after & we were completely right!! The ambience is cozy but energetic, with good music also being on the menu on both of my visits there. The drinks are good, reasonably priced, & the food is as great as its price. But the service... WOW!! Probably one of the most memorable services that I've ever had. The waiter was such a gem, recommending what's on the menu without upselling, being quick with service, & making conversation without being too invasive. Overall, top notch service both times that I've been. I haven't tried their breakfast/brunch menu, but I'd probably go back to try :) I would definitely recommend for a bar date or girls night!
