Cute little gem of a restaurant in Vaudreuil-Dorion. It is a BYOB, & the food prices are very reasonable. Keep in mind it is a set 4-course menu, with different options for appetizers, mains & desserts. Everything we had was very tasty & beautifully presented.
We started with mushroom ravioli, cauliflower soup (soup of the day), filet of walleye, seafood risotto & their signature filet mignon. Desserts included white chocolate crème brûlée & pistachio Opéra.
On top of the excellent food, the setting is in a cute, old house, & the service was fantastic.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Bonus is it's a BYOB. Service is top notch A-1. Food is divine . The filet mignon is to die for. Everything that Chef Stephane makes is culinary perfection. Catherine leads her wait staff with the highest of customer service. It is recommended to make reservations especially on Friday & Saturday & during special holidays make them well in advance not to be disappointed as they are often booked with a full house as many now know this hidden jewel.View more

The service was top tier, extremely helpful & attentive. Everything we ordered was local fresh ingredients all well thought out & perfectly executed. We had the braised beef Risotto entrée, Filet Mignon & Lamb Tenderloin. Finished with the Blueberry Cheesecake. Each plate had its own perfect character. Best restaurant I've visited in a very long while. Can't wait to return for the next menu in September! Thank you again for the experience!View more

Charleville A quaint apportez ton vin locale in Old Dorion Restaurant Le Charleville was a originally a all you can eat mussels restaurant which transformed towards a more standard menu. As the majority of its menu is created using local, fresh produce, it serves as a nice exemplar of Quebec cuisine. A 4 service table d'hôte menu offers an appetizer, un trou Normand, a main, plus dessert. Delicate house-made fois gras with the right tartness of legumes, mussels, & other apps whetted appetites all around. A very crisp & cold Trou Normand cleansed the palate & set the stage for Mains- pieces de résistance which included sumptuous cerf, filet mignon, to name a few. Classic crème brûlée & chocolat mi-cuit to close a delicious & memorable dinner. Parking onsite & on the side street, covered patio is perfect for summer evenings. While the restaurant & terrace themselves are a bit fatigued, service is slow, & smokers smoke wafts from the street inwards, it is worth visiting relative to other Dorion offerings.View more

via LibroTerrible expérience. Soupe minestrone aux petits pois verts ressemblait plus à une soupe aux tomates & légumes. Ajoutez à ça un filet mignon qui contenait une bonne couche de gras environ 35% du morceau & vous comprendrez que pour $160 sans vin c'est très décevant. La serveuse qi est aussi la gérante de la salle à manger a engueulé mon épouse pour s'être plainte un peu énergiquement. Déplorable.

via LibroJ'ai bien aimé l'entrée tartare quoi vraiment trop peu dans l'assiette. Genre ça remplissait une cuillère à soupe! A refaire je prendrait le baluchon, choix de ma soeur, c'était une portion suffisante & excellent. Le plat principal surf&turf très décevant. Queue homard trop cuite & filet mignon effiloche très très sec en plus ils avaient oublié la sauce. Vraiment un plat qui vaut pas le prix. Dessert poire caramel excellent. En général, bien.
