Chef Stéphane Boudreau never disappoints! Every single item on the menu was tempting, I didn't know what to choose. Luckily, everyone at our table of 5 chose something different, so I was able to get a taste. I had the mushroom ravioli for appetizer, & the duck magret with caramelized onions & maple syrup, & beet purée. Both the appetizer & main were outstanding, so tasty & well presented, just perfect. For dessert I had the almond liqueur crème brûlée, excellent. I absolutely love this place. Catherine, the charming & highly efficient maître D, is so knowledgeable about the menu & so accommodating. All the staff clearly love their job & are proud of what they serve, they truly make your dining experience so pleasant. Outstanding food & service with a friendly unpretentious ambiance. Can't ask for more!

One of the best meals & service experience. Bring your own alcoholic beverages. A must go restaurant with an amazing chef & awesome staff. We keep going back & add more pictures to this review as it will let us create new reviews.
Enfin un restaurant à la hauteur de mes attentes tant au niveau de la nourriture (bravo chef cuisinier) & du service professionnel du serveur ! Enfin je ne suis pas déçu d'avoir payé pour une expérience culinaire ! Merci & à bientôt!
3.5. la qualité des plats & les portions généreuses sont au rendez-vous. L'accueil est chaleureux & les employés courtois. Un chef qui priorise les aliments locaux. L'ambiance & l'expérience pourraient être mieux. La musique un peu trop forte, fait naturellement augmenter le volume des gens qui discutent. Le choix musicale de musique populaire gâche un peu l'expérience. Un chandelle a batterie & tous ces petits détails qui fait de l'ombre a l'expérience culinaire.
C'est notre resto fétiche. Tous ceux qui y travaillent sont des personnes très attentionnées, chaleureuses & c'est tellement agréable d'y passer une belle soirée. Nous y retournons bientôt afin de découvrir le nouveau menu de novembre & décembre. Merci au Chef, ceux & celles qui participent à cette merveilleuse bouffe, surtout sans oublier tout l'équipe qui nous recoivent comme des rois & reines.

Absolutely a wonderful experience. Dominique our server was exceptional & despite the chef being out for a personal reason the sous-chefs did a superb job. I have never had tastier melt in your mouth scallops & my husband's steak was also exemplary. What an exceptional way to spend our 22nd year anniversary! We will definitely return. The menu changes every two months & looking forward to their Wednesday night tapas night.

We absolutely loved our evening at Le Charleville, where we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere on the terrasse was lively as every table was full. Four stars only because it was a bit noisy & our table shook any time someone walked by.
The food was melt-in-your-mouth perfect - & that's not just the sorbet!! I had the bison tataki, thin slices of buttery seared bison on a bed of arugula with a mix of flavors & textures for dressing. Hubby had the beef gnocchi, which he found to be excellent. Second course was a strawberry sorbet with gin - tasty & refreshing! Main course I chose the Mussels Marinière with fries. The broth was rich & briny with a hint of garlic. The fries were cooked to perfection, a light crisp on the outside & sweetly tender on the inside, & lightly seasoned. My husband had the lamb chops, which he described as'some of the best he's ever had'. We finished with dessert (of course). My salted caramel creme brûlée was an interesting variation, with the salt balancing the sweetness of the rich custard. Hubby had the blueberry cheesecake which was also excellent. The'bring your own wine' feature allows you to keep the bill within reason. Service was fantastic as the duo covering the tables outside worked very well together. Service was prompt, friendly, & the food arrived hot! As someone food intolerances (gluten & lactose) I was in good hands as there are many GF options on the menu & the sous-chef came out to discuss my menu choices to make sure all would be ok. All in all, an excellent evening.
Catherine is always so friendly ! Even after no going for at least 1 year she remembered us like it was last week. She takes time to explain very well the specials & knows just when to come back for the order.
Stephane is a great chef ! Already 4 years since he went from employee to owner & we are very happy he is doing so well. The quality of the food, the mix of flavours… just absolutely perfect & sublime !!!
It's wonderful that a trip downtown wasn't necessary to eat well; this place is a true gem! The presentation & flavours of each dish were truly perfect. Thank you to the chefs!
One of the best restaurants in the area. Bonus is it's a BYOB. Service is top notch A-1. Food is divine . The filet mignon is to die for. Everything that Chef Stephane makes is culinary perfection. Catherine leads her wait staff with the highest of customer service. It is recommended to make reservations especially on Friday & Saturday & during special holidays make them well in advance not to be disappointed as they are often booked with a full house as many now know this hidden jewel.

I can't express how incredibly delicious the gourmet menu is at Le Charleville restaurant ! If I could lick my plate I would . A quaint little restaurant with amazing staff & a 5 Star Chef that creates a cuisine that leaves your pallet wanting more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !
My partner & I have been here twice & loved both experiences. They change the menu every few months & the chef uses local ingredients in the dishes which are fresh & delicious. I love that it's a bring your own wine too. Additionally, the staff is so kind & professional. We've left this resto very happy :)

We've gone there for years now & it never disappoints! Stephan is an amazing chef with a wonderful pallet. His food is classic but never boring or predictable.
Bravo au chef, la nourriture est excellente! Nous avon apprécier l'experience culinaire. Les baluchons de boeuf braisé en entrée étaient particulièrement bonne! & que dire de l'osso bucco de cerf...tout simplement délicieux.
Excellent as always. Chef Stéphane is always on point each & every time with every dish he creates. Service is second to none with Catherine & Melissa who are cheerful, pleasant & attentive. You cannot go wrong choosing this restaurant. & a BYOB is a bonus.
Service & food are second to none. The chef shines when it comes to perfection & the warm service from the wait staff is the best you can experience. This is why I rate this aas my number ONE restaurant.
