Such a great cafe with some of the best pancakes & brunch items I've had. Staff is very friendly & has awesome acoustic musicians playing there especially during POUZZAfest. If you're down here in May for Pouzza it's a must to go for hangover food, or tired from no-moshing at Turbo Haus food if you're not a drinker.View more

Came here for brunch while visiting family a few weeks ago. It was super delicious!! Absolutely loved those pancakes--still dreaming of them. The portion sizes are pretty generous, so be prepared for that!

Looooooveee this cafe sooo much. They have a great menu for brunch & have a wonderful staff. I had to wait a bit to get the food BUT the wait was worthwhile. The pancakes are ridiculously good (probably the best i have had), the french toast were so delicious, & the brunch burrito was very filling. The atmosphere of the cafe has every detail of pop 90s nostalgia & I adore it. I WILL be coming again!!View more

Tried the latkes, breakfast plate, & pancake stack. 10/10 across the board. Service was top-notch as well. Shoutout the girl working at the counter today (Tuesday, Dec 10th at 10:30 AM), thank you for accomodating to our requests with a smile on your face at all times & for your patience, too. Went here only because it was right nextdoor to my hotel. Got the ricotta pancake, breakfast burrito, & poutine. All three were phenomenal, especially the ricotta pancake. Everything was really fresh & delicious. Wasn't going to get poutine until I saw them peeling potatoes in the kitchen. Highly reccommendView more

Definitely one of the best brunch spots in town. If you want to enjoy the best avocado toast without resorting to robbing your grandma (but seriously, that bread is next-level), you're in the right place. Don't even get me started on the pancakes-they're better than your mom's, (no offense, Mom). But my personal favorite? The homemade Pop-Tarts, literally stuffed with love (ok, not literally). & of course, they serve a DAMN good coffee, as Dale Cooper would say. Café Big Trouble feels like home (but better).View more

This was our last bite to eat in Montreal & what a delight! Food was yummy, the staff was great, & it was cute. I ordered a London Fog & am still thinking about how delicious it was 🫖 My sister ordered their pancakes & I never do sweets for breakfast but I devoured what she leftover because they were the perfect mixture of sweet with something savory in there I still cannot place my hand on. 🥞 Ignore the geo stamp on the photo- we were at Big Trouble!View more
