Delightful, full of juxtaposition. Their coffee gives enough vituperance to walk all the way back to Bushwick, & their food will fill you happily for the ride.View more
Chairs & tables were dirty, overpriced coffee, nothing to be excited for, I legit don't get how it is so highly reviewed. Not impressed.View more
Tasty! Unlimited drip coffee, great food, & service.View more
Great great breakfast & coffee shop, cannot recommend enough.View more
Great little tucked away place on Dt Denis. Comfortable environment, good food & the coffee is good. This may just become a weekend neighbourhood stop for me. Writing the review even as I'm tucking into a plate of steaming hot pancakes 😄 & the music? Spot on!! Perfect Sunday vibes.View more
The food is delicious, comforting kind of breakfast food. They serve Traffic coffee, which is OK, but not an amazing roastery; suits the vibe though: bright pastel just missed the brat summer bandwagon kinda vibes: cute. If you're in a rush though, or even if you're not, just be advised that you wait a surprisingly long time for something as simple as a breakfast sandwich. The first time I came, it was busy, & the wait for a breakfast sandwich was around 45 minutes. The second time I came it was pretty quiet, & I still waited 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. I do like the flavor of the food at Big Trouble. If you have the time, try it out. I've just got less free time on my hands than others must have to spend it waiting that long for an English muffin, egg, sausage, & American cheese than other people have, apparently. Also, it would help if they called orders out more than once, in case you're in the bathroom or sitting outside & it's difficult to hear. Cool logo, so we bought the t-shirt.View more
Definitely one of the best brunch spots in town. If you want to enjoy the best avocado toast without resorting to robbing your grandma (but seriously, that bread is next-level), you're in the right place. Don't even get me started on the pancakes-they're better than your mom's, (no offense, Mom). But my personal favorite? The homemade Pop-Tarts, literally stuffed with love (ok, not literally). & of course, they serve a DAMN good coffee, as Dale Cooper would say. Café Big Trouble feels like home (but better).View more
Had breakfast here with a group of friends. All of us left the cafe raving about our experience. The coffee was made with care, the food was freshly prepared with quality ingredients-& was delicious! The service & atmosphere were friendly. It was a great place to start our day. Thank you !View more
I stopped by on my most recent trip to Montreal, although my hangover won & I didn't get there in time for breakfast, I had a really great iced coffee & the service & atmosphere was fantastic.View more
It's my go-to cafe for so many reasons. The staff is welcoming, the food & coffee is done with love & care, the atmosphere is friendly & brings that second home feeling. It's never really a full or good day without a stop at Big Trouble for some coffee. I've supported this place from day one & to see how much it's grown since then always warms my heart. It's become a staple for me. ❤️View more
Can't really understand the delights about this place. Quite mediocre coffee & food. Slow service. I was waiting for my burrito for 25 min to find out it's mostly scrambled eggs inside.View more
I'm a regular customer one time every week I take a coffee & read & actually I like the terrace to do that plan, this week I asked for a burrito which was a greatest option for a good breakfast. Their americano is amazing & there's a raspberry & lemon muffin that is wonderful.View more
Food is amazing. Coffee is average. Service is so bad. Had to wait so long to order extra bacon. The cashier was just ignoring me "doing things in the back".View more
My Own Prison of bad coffee ends here. This is the best cafe in the city. I didn't think food could take me Higher, but it did here. The coffee is amazing & like One Last Breath of fresh aromas. Come eat here & they will welcome you With Arms Wide Open.View more
Ordered breakfast here & was blown away by the quality of the food & coffee. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, & was surprised how different it was from a typical breakfast sandwich. The ingredients were high quality & the toasting was perfect. Great spot for brunch!View more

Love the People they work there & I think they have the best coffee in the areaView more
This place is adorable, the food & coffee are stellar, & the staff are friendly! We were visiting from Toronto & had breakfast here (the wrap is so delicious as is the latte ❤️) The decor is also adorable! Would definitely stop by regularly if I lived in Montreal!View more
This is probably my to-go coffee place. I really love the coffee from here. I mostly stop by to buy the coffee if i pass by this place. The cafe is cute & the biscuit is really good.View more
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, super friendly service, gorgeous decor. Small menu but that means every item on it is well done. Worth visiting for just a coffee or brunch!View more
Good tunes, delicious food, good coffee, solid vibes, super friendly staff. Visited this spot twice while in town for a few days. Both visits were great, keep it up.View more

Generous portions at an extremely reasonable price. Tried the avocado toast, breakfast burrito, pancake, pop-tart, gingerbread cookie & coffee. Everything was satisfying. There's a laidback yet fun energy to this place. The owners are super personable, you really sense the love that goes into everything they're doing. Def recommend.View more
Just the best experience every single time. Genuinely excellent food & coffee, a warm, welcoming room & the service is always truly excellent. Friendly, accommodating, sweet & patient.View more
Nice & cute neighbor café, the service is pretty much self serve, order at the counter & go get it when is ready which is fine. The breakfast sandwich was really good. The coffee was a little disappointing, the Latte didn't have micro foam & even though it was just made it wasn't hot. The place is nice with plants & is a nice escape away from the cold outsideView more
