It was the opposite of trouble coming to eat here on a Sunday after a weekend of clubbing & good times. My friends & I were promptly seated by a tattooed & jovial server. The food, bright & fresh, left us in the mood for stimulating conversation & fuzzy warm laughter. The best iced latte I've had in ages! Phenomenal. However, some berries on the yogurt would have been nice. Definitely come here to get your brunch on.View more

Came here for brunch while visiting family a few weeks ago. It was super delicious!! Absolutely loved those pancakes--still dreaming of them. The portion sizes are pretty generous, so be prepared for that!

Looooooveee this cafe sooo much. They have a great menu for brunch & have a wonderful staff. I had to wait a bit to get the food BUT the wait was worthwhile. The pancakes are ridiculously good (probably the best i have had), the french toast were so delicious, & the brunch burrito was very filling. The atmosphere of the cafe has every detail of pop 90s nostalgia & I adore it. I WILL be coming again!!View more

Definitely one of the best brunch spots in town. If you want to enjoy the best avocado toast without resorting to robbing your grandma (but seriously, that bread is next-level), you're in the right place. Don't even get me started on the pancakes-they're better than your mom's, (no offense, Mom). But my personal favorite? The homemade Pop-Tarts, literally stuffed with love (ok, not literally). & of course, they serve a DAMN good coffee, as Dale Cooper would say. Café Big Trouble feels like home (but better).View more

Can't say enough about how much I love this place. The coffee is the best in montreal- very smooth & creamy. Must get their pumpkin spice latte if visiting in the fall, still thinking about those complex & comforting flavours. Don't forget to get their loyalty card, you get a free coffee after only 5.. which is SO generous considering every other cafe requires 10. The fried chicken in chicken & waffles was perfectly cooked, crispy, juicy & tender. The waffles were cornmeal, making this dish unique & especially satisfying. The spicy honey was great- not too sweet. Having fruit on the side was a nice touch to cleanse the palette at the end. Great vegan / vegetarian options too. The vegan Mac & cheese was served in the cutest bowl & was honestly better than regular Mac & cheese. Pickled onions & crispy bread crumbs complemented the richness of the Mac & cheese. We also got the latke with house made hot sauce, the perfect side dish to anything on the menu. Their bread & pastries are all made in house, & you can tell they pay special attention to the details of their food. If it's your first time, recommend their breakfast sandwich too, it's my go-to grab & go. But having the brunch & bottomless mimosas was a nice treat. Super friendly & kind staff too. Wish I took a pic, but ate everything too fast! All in all, you must try this place!! Best new restaurant of 2023 hands down.View more

Très bonne découverte. Nous avons pris du granola & des pancakes qui étaient vraiment délicieux. Il y avait des pommes à la cannelle par dessus & une de nous était allergique à la canelle. La cuisinière à eu la gentillesse de nous les refaire sans cannelle. Personnel vraiment agréable. Endroit joliment décoré. Assiette copieuse. Vraiment parfait.
