the atmosphere was lovely! the bar is beautiful as well as the other decor. the beer was good, but prefer more traditional sushi but the sushi was still good! ☺?
Nous allons d'abord au Blossom pour la beauté du décor. La présence du magnifique cerisier japonais en fleurs est tout simplement magique! J'avais déjà eu l'occasion d'y aller avant la pandémie & j'avais gardé un excellent souvenir de mon expérience. Ma deuxième visite en octobre 2025 fut cependant fort différente & décevante.
Il faut d'abord souligner le service extrêmement attentionné de notre serveur, qui avait en tête les plats de notre dernière visite pour nous présenter les nouveautés au menu.
Le cocktail fut rafraichissant, mais par particulièrement marquant. Le premier plat, le duo sashimi saumon & hamachi, s'est avéré très ordinaire pour ce qui est de la coupe & de la qualité des morceaux servis, bien relevé par contre par la sauce ponzu. Le second, la version Blossom de la pizza sushi, était excellent avec les jalapenos marinés, mais en si petite quantité qu'on ne pouvait que se sentir floués: une mince couche de thon rouge sur une croustille wonton. J'ai pris le nigiri de thon toro à la carte, qui m'a déçue par son manque de richesse. Sur le plateau de makis, enfin, 2 des 3 makis étaient froids intégralement, donc sortaient visiblement tout droit du réfrigérateur, alors qu'il comportaient du tempura... Ce n'est pas exactement ce qu'on attend d'un repas en salle à manger. Le maki au pétoncle à la feuille de soja était pour sa part exquis.
L'ensemble ne m'a pas donné envie d'y retourner. Les portions sont particulièrement chiches pour le prix, & il y a eu quelques écueils en cuisine.

Décor magnifique, peu de tables disponibles- réservation nécessaire. Service lent, spécial du jeudi - verres de vin à 10$ (bon) & huîtres à 1$ délicieux.
I did not like my experience. The appeal for this place was the ambience which for me was not great. They have a beautiful decor but face people away from it.
To add, having to sit at the bar is ok, but the entire time I was face to face with sushi chefs talking very loudly. At least make the food preparation area nice as well if that's where we are sitting.
The food was ok, the oysters were good & well priced, but the rest was mildly unimpressive.
Overall, 4/10. Maybe it's ok for some people, but definitely not for me.
Chic & cozy decor with the indoor cherry blossom 🌸 A half(?)open kitchen & bar. Food was beautifully presented. It is definitely being branded like a high end restaurant, with its smaller portions & focus on aestheticism & palatable choices of Japanese cuisine & seafoods.
However, our dishes took more than a 1 hour to arrive (on a rather calm Thursday night) & no one came to let us know about the reason of delay ☹? I dont know how the priority of order is determined (maybe it was because we didn't order that much), but we saw a few people that ordered later than us get their dishes served before us. The food is definitely on the pricier side & even tho I wasn't that hungry, one portion wasn't enough (& we didn't want to add on to the order due to the slow service 😔)
Plats toujours aussi bien présentés & aussi délicieux à chaque visite. Réservez au cas où si vous souhaitez être certain d'avoir des places car l'établissement a peu de tables. Une attention particulière a été portée sur la décoration avec un faux cerisier en fleurs au milieu de la place avec un comptoir tout autour & des tabourets. L'éclairage du comptoir, du bar & du plafond apporte une ambiance moderne & conviviale. La portion des plats par rapport au prix est peut-être un peu juste. Certainement aussi dû à la gourmandise quand les mets sont bons, on en veut toujours plus... Service rapide. Très bon restaurant de quartier. Un bel exemple pour d'autres établissements souhaitant ouvrir dans l'arrondissement. Merci à toute l'équipe.
Incredible food! Love the small/medium plates-great for exploring different flavors. The decor is beautiful, the music is on point (maybe a bit louder), & softer lighting would create a cozier, more intimate feel. Fantastic work!
Le décor est beau, l'ambiance est décontractée & l'espace est chaleureux! Excellent service à chaque fois! La nourriture est le "highlight". Les saveurs & la fraîcheur des plats sont impeccables. Gros coup dd coeur pour le plateau de nigiris & la mignonnette asiatique pour les huitres. Je le recommande
This place was amazing! I will recommend to friends when they visit Montréal. The decor is great, music was good but would have liked a more ambient sound. The food presentation is beautiful, & I don't know what is in the sauce for the gyoza but it's amazing!! Do try it! Sorry for the blurry gyoza photo!
They took 6 of us in last minute which I really appreciated! The food was honestly out of this world. Can't remember having fresh fish like this in Montreal! Decor is also beautiful, staff was efficient & courteous & the drinks were amazing!
Reataurant japonais avec décor intérieur unique. Vaste sélection d'alcool & les plats à partager ont tous été extraordinaires. La musique de style lounge était parfaite. Le service a été très bien, nous allons clairement retourner à ce restaurant. Merci pour la belle soirée.

Très bonne nourriture !!! Le décore est tellement charmant 💕 le service très rapide même trop !!! J'avais commandé deux entrées & trois rouleaux de sushis & ils sont tous arrivé en même temps !! C'est dommage car j'avais de la nourriture chaude & j'ai du me dépêcher à manger !! Mais sinon j'y retournerai
