I can't believe I forgot to leave a review for this place when we were there last October. Honestly, WOW! We got into Montreal late & wandered around the area & there was not a whole lot open, but we felt a vibe when we walked by & decided to try. The service was attentive & the atmosphere was moody, intimate & fresh & OMG the food!!! We started with meaty oysters & warm sourdough with the most delicious butter. We shared the burger & frites & I still dream about going back for the burger with the best Quebec cheese. The cocktails & beer selections were on point & it was a really great introduction to start off our epic honeymoon in Montreal!
This is my favorite place of all time. Anything you order will be great. Everything seems so effortless but the quality & service speaks for itself. Will return every time I am in Montreal.

Um, so I'm completely blown away by how casual & comfortable Larry's comes off being but at the same time the service is so attentive & warm, & the food (& even the coffee?!) is out of this world. Easily my best & favourite brunch in Montreal.

Nous y sommes allés après avoir lu les commentaires en ligne. Le restaurant est mignon, mais le service nous a semblé un peu froid. Les portions sont petites & les prix assez élevés. Ce n'est pas vraiment notre style, donc nous n'y retournerons pas, mais nous comprenons l'attrait que ce type de resto-bar à l'ambiance hipster peut avoir pour d'autres.
Certainement un des meilleurs Sandwich déjeuner que j'ai mangé a Montréal, vraiment bon !
Je mets'seulement' 4 étoiles car a chaque fois je trouve que le service n'est pas à la hauteur malheureusement, disons que le staff ne semble pas toujours très heureux d'être ici & de service les clients (je parle de certains serveurs.ses, pas tout.es évidemment), une légère impression qu'ils ou elles semblent meilleur.es que nous 🫤
J'aurais pensé que ce serait juste exceptionnel, mais le problème c'est que c'est assez reçurent, c'est dommage..
I came here for lunch. The staff was incredibly friendly & wonderful. The food was absolutely stunning. I tried the cornbread with corn & shrimp, the black pudding & the peach & melon salad. Every single bite was like a pleasant surprise in my mouth. It was hard to decide what I wanted to finish on. The melon salad was so refreshing with a hint of chilly. The cornbread was just stunning. I wish I could eat it every day. Thank you!

Le ceviche etait bien, cest le seul plat que jai pris plaisir à terminer.
Very fun, casual, laid back lunch. Elevated yet approachable. The food is excellent. Some of the best fries I have had in the city. The pavlova was perfectly airy with a satisfying crack. The service is easygoing with a light touch. If you want to be doted on very carefully this might not be the spot.
Nous avons diné sur la petite terrasse sur la rue St-Laurent donc, si vous recherchez une terrasse tranquille, passez votre tour. Nous n'avons pas été à l'intérieur.

La tarte Banoffee: bananes, caramel & amandes est succulente.
La facture monte très vite... 2 bières, 2 sandwichs,1 frites (très petite portion pour 10$) & 1 expresso= 76.46$ incluant les taxes.
Bon à savoir, le prix inclus le pourboire!

Small place, but EVERYTHING was amazing. We had what felt like half the menu, & it was all made incredibly well. It was all fresh too. Our server was great as well!
