I would give Larry's a 5 star review except I have to say that the staff seems to be a little lost when it comes to seats & food ordering. We were brought the wrong food twice. & another table got our food so we had to wait double.
Other than that the staff is ok. The food to me was delicious. We had a portion of bread, cheese, some amazing Oysters & the presentation & taste of the Beef Carpaccio was outstanding. Highly recommend it but just breath & be patient.

Not your average place for breakfast. Gourmet meal & friendly service make Larry's a memorable choice. They presently dont offer cream with your coffee...it was explained to me that not enough folks request it....that may change perhaps in time...

Love Larry's! Great spot for breakfast, in particular. The famed breakfast sandwich is very good, as are the pikelets (english-style pancakes), but all the food is solid. Love the service & the ambiance as well.

On a pris un petit-dèj chez Larry's & on a pas été déçus ! Les équipes sont super chaleureuses, la nourriture est bonne (mention spéciale pour leur pain maison qui est exceptionnel, le meilleur que j'ai mangé pendant mon séjour à MTL !). C'est un super spot pour se poser entre amis, déjeuner, boire un pot ensemble !

Larry's never misses…great food, wine, atmosphere. Attentive yet un-intrusive staff. This is a gem in Mile End.

Um, so I'm completely blown away by how casual & comfortable Larry's comes off being but at the same time the service is so attentive & warm, & the food (& even the coffee?!) is out of this world. Easily my best & favourite brunch in Montreal.

If you're in Montreal you have to try Larry's. So good we went twice!! Incredible scrambled eggs, bread & jam is a must, coffee was awesome. Service is great too, & gratuity is included in prices so you don't have to stress about tipping. I wish all restaurants did this!!
