Delicious wine! beef tartare, fries & asparagus😍 our server was friendly & knowledgeable. My AirPods fell out of my purse during dinner & I was able to recover them the following day✨

The food was very good overall.
Each dish was quite small & a bit pricey, but there was a nice variety, & I felt satisfied in the end. The price also includes tips, which is nice.

I especially loved that the beef tartare came with an egg yolk on top.
The Kedgeree was flavorful, although the rice was a bit too crunchy for my taste.

The atmosphere was open, clean, & comfortable. It's also a great spot to stop by after getting bagels nearby.

We loved the squash plate! The combo of pistachios & feta cheese was lovely & the added cumin was a nice kick!! The pie was delicious too, especially with that whipped cream on top. The pasta was meh for us, nothing special. The sandwich had fluffy bread & the cheese flavor really came through, well balanced. The beef was nice & tender, but we felt the chimichurri sauce was a bit bland. We will come back to try their brunch one day.

Butttt the price tho.. for the super small portions they were overpriced.

$377 for 2 people for dinner & the word is mediocre (at best). The chicken liver toast came out very burnt so they redid it. The tartare was nice; the best dish we had. Carrots with muhamarra were meh. The biggest disappointment of the night was the beef with chimichurri which came out as barely cooked & very cold slices of beef & the chimichurri was mid. We sent it back & the staff weren't bothered at all- nobody even asked why or even came back to our table until I called someone over to get the bill. Most disappointing $377 I've ever spent.

Fabulous spot. The menu looks deceptively simple, but dont be fooled. Dishes are designed to be shared - our favourite type of meal. Each dish is beautifully crafted with fresh ingredients & careful thought to flavour combinations. We had the ceviche, beet salad & the beef with chimichurri sauce, & then the banoffee pie for dessert. We loved them all. We're still dreaming of that ceviche! In retrospect, probably would have had the rhubarb tart for dessert instead, but we enjoyed the banoffee too.

Service is excellent, just the right amount of advice, attention & casual interaction. Love the no tipping policy too! Certainly didn't impact the level of service :)

The atmosphere is casual & easy. Many came in just to have the burgers - I'm guessing they are fantastic too. Maybe next time!

One other note - Google AI told me that reservations are not taken. This is not the case, we reserved a few weeks ahead. It was for a Saturday night - not sure if that is an exception, but worth noting.

I don't usually find myself enjoying every single item on the menu but this venue pulls it out. Everything i tried here is just on point. The beef tartare nails it, the picklets (pancakes) nailed it (most places make them dry, here perfect), the banoffee is incredible if you like bananas, I do. The eggs are creamy, the breakfast sandwich has this yummy dijon mustard taste & the lentils too were great. 💯

Place is very cute. But honestly the food was ok…Very pricey & tiny. I took the beef tartare & it was very blend (24$ for the smallest portion). & I took the scone too, & inside it wasn't properly cooked (11$ for 1 scone). But coffee was good.

Larry's is a quaint spot for a delicious food experience. We were a group of 6 & shared many dishes. Our favourite included the pork chops, beef chimichurri, fries, beets with creme fraiche. The server recommended the oyster mushroom & beans which I would pass. Other dishes that were small & pricey were the anchovies. For such a dish, a bread accompaniment would be welcomed. It was a very small portion & very pricey. What was amazing was the bananatoffee dessert. Overall, a very tasty meal. It has a service included business model.

The atmosphere, the service & the food were great. The price of the menu was the negative point for me. Prices included taxes & tip but still, beef tartare 22$ but no sides. The salad was 12$ for a small bowl. So 39.59$ for the small beef tartare with a side salad no drink was too expensive in my opinion.
