About

La Petite Cachée focuses on a rustic Mediterranean culinary approach that emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients prepared with traditional techniques. The menu centers on hearth-baked flatbreads, vibrant vegetable compositions, and grilled proteins seasoned with robust herb blends characteristic of coastal regions. Exposed wooden beams and natural stone elements define the interior architecture, creating an environment that feels grounded and connected to its natural surroundings. Patrons encounter a thoughtfully curated selection of dishes that prioritize textural contrast and balanced acidity. The kitchen maintains a steady commitment to flavor authenticity, ensuring each plate reflects the distinct cultural origins of its ingredients. This establishment operates as a straightforward destination for those seeking a focused Mediterranean menu served in an intentionally tactile, comfortable, and well-designed physical space.

Review Summary

La Petite Cachée is widely regarded as a premier dining destination in Mont Tremblant, celebrated for its cozy, rustic atmosphere housed within a charming log cabin. Many guests praise the exceptional quality of the dishes, particularly highlighting the filet mignon, scallops, and the signature Pouding Chômeur as standout culinary experiences. The restaurant offers a well-curated wine list and attentive service, creating a memorable ambiance that many visitors find far superior to the more commercial options in the nearby village. While some guests have noted occasional inconsistencies in service or preparation, the overwhelming majority of reviews reflect a deeply positive experience, emphasizing the warm, welcoming environment and the passion put into the menu, making it a highly recommended spot for both special occasions and casual, high-quality dinners.

My wife & I had an amazing experience dining in this establishment. Food was absolutely delicious. We had the filet mignon dish & maple pudding for dessert which both were 10/10. Staff were very professional & enjoyable. Thank you for a great evening.

Personel courtois, souriant, le chef est venue nous voir pour savoir si tout était a notre goût. Je le recommande fortement.

A great Tremblant experience. Quality food & friendly service. Nice change from the overly commercialized village.

We went there for dinner. The inside of the restaurant is charming & the staff is kind. The bavette could be better presented but was very tasty. The lemon dessert was delicious. However both the foie gras poelé & the duck breast were overcooked & very small, a shame.

We were very excited to try this place. We rarely go out, so when we do, we hope to get a good experience for our money. They were very courteous & fit us in right at 5pm even though they weren't taking anymore reservations that evening. We ordered the brie appetizer which was very good. My husband had the filet Mignon which was good. I ordered the duck. Something I often do at restaurants because it is different from what we cook at home & usually very tasty & flavourful. I have never had a bad experience with duck at a restaurant before. Our waiter asked me how I wanted it cooked which I thought was curious as that is not something I have ever experienced when ordering duck before, so I hesitated & wanted to order something else, but he stopped me & said it should be okay. I ordered it medium well as I didn't want to risk it being undercooked. It came out inedible. I couldn't even cut through it with a steak knife. I told the waiter & set my plate aside. He left it there the entire meal until everyone else were done eating, never offering to redo it for me or to get something else. After that we asked for the bill. Didn't feel like staying for dessert. The full charge for the meal was also on the bill. $40 for an inedible meal certainly leaves a bad taste in your mouth twice over. The 1 star is for the kids meal which was really good. A full freshly breaded chicken breast for $12. I have never seen my son finish a meal at a restaurant before. The only part of our meal that was actually worth the price.
