This restaurant offers a truly pleasant dining experience with excellent service & a great atmosphere. The staff were attentive & the ambiance was wonderful, making for an enjoyable evening.
However, one significant issue marred the culinary experience: the cauliflower cream was noticeably salty. While the staff offered an apology when this was brought to their attention, no further action was taken to rectify the situation, which was a bit disappointing.
I would strongly recommend that the chef re-evaluates & reduces the amount of salt used in their dishes to ensure a more balanced & enjoyable flavor profile for all diners. Also on a side note the creme brûlée surag was so burnt that it was sower & not tasty at all. After what happened with the soup I just did not report it.View more
Highly recommended. Beautiful restaurant, wonderful food & top tier service. We brought our 3 kids (we like to treat them to one high class dining experience when we are on vacation). The kids meals were prepared with lots of care, which I feel is very rare. The kids had salmon & chicken, which were both excellent. Our teenager had a very nice filet mignon. My wife had the risotto & I the sea bass special, & we all shared a pear & arugula salad & the French onion soup, which was seasoned perfectly. For dessert we shared sorbet & a slice of key lime pie, which was also amazing & highly recommended by our waiter (he threw down the gauntlet claiming it may be the best in the world, & I can't disagree)! I wish we lived close enough to try all the delicious items on the menu (up from Florida), but I hope we are back very soon!View more
It's very cozy & cute restaurant to finish the weekend. Food is okay, nothing special to be honest. I expect the'yummmm!' sound at that price point which I didn't get. That's why giving 4 stars. To give more content, here is what we had: 2 french onion soups, 1 fillet mignon, 1 cote de beuf, 1 key lime pie, 1 bottle of red wine($65), the total amount was around $280. We get a fine dining experience with this kind of price point usually.View more
Worth the detour, way better than anything you'll find on the mountain. We had a delicious french onion soup, snails, seafood pastas & the lamb. All amazing. Also good looking from the outside.View more
Fantastic dinner. We got into the mountain late after Christmas & they fit us in around 9 PM. Food, staff, & the vibe were all hitting. Best French Onion soup I've had in a long time. The duck & seafood were also spot on. Highly recommend.View more
Well what a great restaurant we had seen this restaurant when we were here in November last year as we knew we were coming in February we booked had a amazing meal I went with French onion soup & a fish special of the day bass with orange sauce, my partner went with scallop ceviche & cod with chorizo sauce & we had a Portuguese white with this it was really good. The soup was incredible hadn't had in a longtime as not a big fan of beef stock & wasn't salty at all really enjoyed, the main bass was again really good enjoyed every piece the orange sauce was wow. The scallop was really good & the cod with chorizo throughly enjoyed. The service here is really good staff are very attentive professional will look forward to returning again.View more
The place is beautiful & cozy. The food was very good as well & service was outstanding. We tried the onion soup which was perfect. The ribs & steak were really good. I was a little disappointed with the cod though but ended with a great note with the key lime pie. We tried the chocolate dessert but the key lime pie was the winner as our excellent waiter suggested.View more
Great food! Nice atmosphere. Gluten free options available. Get the French onion soup!View more
An absolute find in Mont-Tremblant. Delicious food, EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE, & an awesome, quaint, rustic, yet inviting atmosphere. It was a pleasure to dine there with Ludovic as our server. If you're staying in this area or even passing through, 100% recommend. The French onion soup, the scallop, & the duck are must try's. Definitely plan to dine here the next time I'm in the area.View more
La Petit Cachée was perfect! We were staying right up the road & could basically walk here. The atmosphere was quaint, dimly lit, & amazing. Noise levels were perfect, The decor/place settings were very tasteful, the service was impeccable. We highly recommend Ludovic, he was the highlight of our evening(s) - of course we went back the next night because everything was so delicious. He made excellent recommendations, spoke English to me & French to my boyfriend, & made both nights dining at La Petit Cachée so pleasant for us. Of course, the food was so delicious, we were able to try 5 appetizers, 3 entres, & the creme brûlée over the course of two nights. On our last night we ended up ordering the French onion soup for dessert (yes you read that right ;)) because it was just that good. Must try: The duck, French onion soup, & the scallops!!!!View more
Our experience at LA PETITE CACHÉE was fantastic! The decor with a central fireplace & a charming wine cellar created a beautiful atmosphere, & the attention to detail was impressive. Our waitress, Julie, was amazing – always smiling, patient, & polite.
The food was the highlight of our Mont Tremblant trip. The steak was cooked to perfection, & we highly recommend the duck & vegetable risotto, gnocchi, pear salad, & onion soup. Every dish was a culinary delight. & don't miss the key lime pie – it's a true piece of art! Overall, a must-visit for an exceptional dining experience.

Everything about our meal was perfect! Highly recommend. Onion soup & key lime pie are must haves. Kid friendly too. Everyone had something different & we all enjoyed. & top notch service on a busy night. Thank you!
We enjoyed our meal at this lovely restaurant. The ambiance is warm & welcoming as was our waitress/servers. Our starters were gnocchis, pear salad & soup of the day, entrees were steak frites, risotto with shrimp, cod & sirloin strip. All delicious & well prepared. Our only mistake was sharing the chocolate cake & key lime pie, we should have gotten our own!! Wonderful relaxing meal to end the day. Highly recommend.
I had the bavette & it was more rare than medium rare, also a better cut of beef should be offered this is too tough a cut. The soup was amazing & we enjoyed ourselves very much, we will be back but I will choose something else on the menu. The service was excellent in this day when services are so substandard since Covid
La Petite Cachee is an absolute gem of a restaurant. We were a group of one Ottawan & three Americans from cities with amazing restaurant scenes, & LA Petite Cachee was truly a standout.
The restaurant itself feels like you are in a different world -- upscale, but very cute & cozy with a big double-sided fireplace in the middle & lots of exposed wood.
The food was superb. We all ordered different appetizers, entrees, & desserts. Everything was absolutely amazing. My favorite was the carrot & cream soup & the saffron risotto. The gnocchi was made there & so perfectly soft & tasty. The wine selection was superb. We chose a Quebecois wine & it turns out it was made by the owner, Julie's, family vineyard.
& Julie herself is just so wonderful. She leads the hospitality at La Petite Cachee & was a welcoming, kind, & knowledgeable hostess. She also clearly has a great rapport with her staff, all of whom were flawless. If you find yourself near Mont Tremblant, you will not want to miss this delightful culinary experience!View more
My spouse & I dined at La Petite Cachee (www.petitecachee.com) on September 10th. For appetizers, my spouse had the Homemade Vanilla Gnocchi, Butter & Pancetta ($22), which was okay but nothing exceptional. I ordered the Soup of the Day & its Topping ($14), which was also alright.
For our mains, my spouse had the Safran Risotto, Mushroom & Rapini ($28) with Shrimp for an additional $12. While the ambiance & service were excellent (5 out of 5), the risotto lacked flavor & was quite bland. The Safran was invisible. We had to request additional salt. I ordered one of the daily specials, a rack of lamb with truffle sauce ($60). Unfortunately, this dish was very disappointing. The truffle sauce had only a few drops around the edges of the plate, & the lamb was more on the rare side rather than medium rare & was cold to the touch. The lamb was encrusted with fresh herbs & was not cooked, but maybe that's what it was supposed to be like. It also needed some seasoning.
The food came so quickly after ordering, within 5 minutes for the mains, that it seemed like dishes were already prepared & sitting under the heat lamp. While the setting & staff were pleasant, the overall experience felt more like an assembly line than fine dining. Considering the prices, higher quality ingredients & more attentive food service would be expected. I would only rate La Petite Cachee a 3 out of 5 for the quality of food.
Really warm & attentive staff. Food was delicious. One of the best French onion soups I can recall. Panzanella salad was positively unique & full of tangy flavour. Burrata salad was well balanced & fresh. We tried the Panko crusted tuna starter which was delicious. My ribs were fabulous. The steak was a bit too cool & could have used more salt. The salmon was satisfying. My husband's braised beef Bourgogne was memorable. very warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Excellent wine list, well priced. Will return =)
We were disappointed in the food & the service, we came for our 40th wedding anniversary & was hoping for a nice quiet dinner. The place was quiet noisy. The service was average. the soup was disappointing as it tasted like caned soup, the vegetables looked like & tasted like frozen vegetables in the soup. The ribs we just OK nit great, like the ribs you would get from Swiss Chalet. the Elk was very good, the saving grace. The mashed potatoes we wiped not real mashed potatoes. The fry we also very good.
Great atmosphere & good service. The apps tasted amazing (tomatoes & corn/shrimp soup), but we waited an hour for the main course & the duck dish came out cold (I'm assuming something happened with our other dish because it came out piping hot). If the main dish didn't take so long & came out hot, i would've given 5 stars.
One of the few restaurants open on Sundays in Tremblant. The restaurant was full & personnel tried their best. Some appetizers were excellent: cerviche, mushroom soup. Meat entrees were over cooked e. g; duck & flank steak but quality of meat good. Fish was very good. Overall cannot be qualified as gastronomic.
