About

La Petite Cachée focuses on a rustic Mediterranean culinary approach that emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients prepared with traditional techniques. The menu centers on hearth-baked flatbreads, vibrant vegetable compositions, and grilled proteins seasoned with robust herb blends characteristic of coastal regions. Exposed wooden beams and natural stone elements define the interior architecture, creating an environment that feels grounded and connected to its natural surroundings. Patrons encounter a thoughtfully curated selection of dishes that prioritize textural contrast and balanced acidity. The kitchen maintains a steady commitment to flavor authenticity, ensuring each plate reflects the distinct cultural origins of its ingredients. This establishment operates as a straightforward destination for those seeking a focused Mediterranean menu served in an intentionally tactile, comfortable, and well-designed physical space.

Review Summary

La Petite Cachée is widely regarded as a standout dining destination in Mont Tremblant, frequently praised for its cozy, rustic chalet atmosphere and exceptional service. Guests often highlight the high quality of the ingredients and the beautifully presented dishes, with standouts like the filet mignon, lamb, and the signature key lime pie earning frequent acclaim. While the vast majority of diners describe their experience as professional, warm, and memorable, a few visitors have noted occasional inconsistencies regarding dish temperatures, portion sizes, or seasoning. Despite these minor critiques, the combination of a charming setting, professional staff, and a thoughtful wine list makes it a highly recommended choice for both casual dinners and special celebratory occasions.

It's a very cozy place, with a nice ambience. We tried the red pepper soup, the duck, the trout, & the risotto. All of them very good. For dessert we tried the key lime pie & a traditional pudding with maple, both delicious. We were able to get a table the same day.

Totally hygge dining in a cozy log cabin with a roaring fire. 20 minute walk from Tremblant ski village or free shuttle. We sat at the bar for our return after many years & were spoiled with personal attention & suggestions from the owner, sommelier, waitstaff & bartender. Wine list was incredibly reasonable & the sommelier didn't at all push pricy options. Snails in creamy garlic were perfect, beef cheeks were melt in your mouth tender. & the key lime pie is as good as its reputation. Tart & light. Lovely walk back around the lake to the village with the lights on the mountain twinkling like stars.

WOW, this is a gem! Wonderful food with awesome customer service. Ludovic paid attention to our every need, provided advice on our food choices & even made us laugh with jokes! Lastly, the key lime pie is a must try! 😁

We absolutely love this spot & we had to try multiple things to really experience the chef's talent.
Here's what we ordered with it's rating :
Pear salad : 8/10 I feel like it needs a better dressing but still so good.
Gnocchi: 7/10
Tuna tataki: 9.5/10
Foie gras ( my husband favorite dish in restaurants): 6.8/10 it was slightly over-cooked
Main: magret de canard: 8/10 amazing dish but was definitely not medium rare.
Keylime pie: 7.5/10
Creme brulé: 9/10 very nice & not too sweet.
Definitely worth a try !

Highly recommended. Beautiful restaurant, wonderful food & top tier service. We brought our 3 kids (we like to treat them to one high class dining experience when we are on vacation). The kids meals were prepared with lots of care, which I feel is very rare. The kids had salmon & chicken, which were both excellent. Our teenager had a very nice filet mignon. My wife had the risotto & I the sea bass special, & we all shared a pear & arugula salad & the French onion soup, which was seasoned perfectly. For dessert we shared sorbet & a slice of key lime pie, which was also amazing & highly recommended by our waiter (he threw down the gauntlet claiming it may be the best in the world, & I can't disagree)! I wish we lived close enough to try all the delicious items on the menu (up from Florida), but I hope we are back very soon!

Great place! The good is excellent, waiting staff friendly & attentive & the atmosphere was really nice. I had the salmon starter which was really fresh tasting &
tender, followed by ribs (really tasty marinade) & key lime pie (also delicious). They had a great selection of beers including good non alcoholic ones.

It's very cozy & cute restaurant to finish the weekend. Food is okay, nothing special to be honest. I expect the'yummmm!' sound at that price point which I didn't get. That's why giving 4 stars. To give more content, here is what we had: 2 french onion soups, 1 fillet mignon, 1 cote de beuf, 1 key lime pie, 1 bottle of red wine($65), the total amount was around $280. We get a fine dining experience with this kind of price point usually.

What a beautiful place! The view was gorgeous & the interior was pleasant & warm. Everything we ate was delicious. The beef cheek was superbly tender & juicy. Pepper steak was cooked to perfection & mouthwatering. Key lime pie was the star of the show; with gorgeous presentation & excellent bursts of lime with each bite. Apple tart, when warmed, was lukewarm but still tasty & exactly what was expected. The thin slices of apple were a nice touch. Service was hectic; we had to request various needed items throughout the meal, including refills on our water. The waiter that helped us most of the time was polite, & it was nice to see him be chatty with other, regular customers. A great recommendation from our hotel. We will definitely be by again to enjoy your wonderful food!
