Great ambiance, well rounded menu of carefully & passionately assembled dishes with something for everyone, extensive wine cellar, & well priced comparatively. The scallops were cooked with flawless execution as was the sea bass. If you have a sweet tooth be sure to try the Pouding Chômeur. Reservations as a must as this quaint log cabin has adequate but modest amount of seating. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation & hope to be back before too long.
Such a short drive from the Village to a restaurant that is clearly a step above even the best in the village. The Fairmont is just ok & the Westin is not worth the visit. We visited LPC twice in a week & both times were excellent. Food, service, mood all good. Wine choices are great as well. Don't waste your time in the village. Take the 5 minute drive to LPC. Prices are more than fair as well compared to the village.
The food at La Petite Cachée was absolutely delicious & easily deserves 5 stars. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, & made for a wonderful dining experience.
Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the cuisine. Although we had a 7:30 p.m. reservation, our order was not taken until around 8:00 p.m., which felt like a long wait. We were also given paper napkins while every surrounding table was set with cloth napkins, which made us feel overlooked.
I also ordered a bottle of wine, but for most of the evening I had to refill my own glass because there was very little attention paid to our table. Small details like these can make a big difference in the overall dining experience.
I would absolutely return for the outstanding food & hope the service becomes more attentive & consistent, because the kitchen is truly excellent.
Amazing experience! Sommelier had excellent wine recommendations. & server was great! We ordered the tomahawk steak for two & it did not disappoint. Huge portion size, cooked perfectly & amazing presentation. Restaurant was a little louder than expected but it was a busy night
Extremely pleasant dinner experience! Ludovic helped us navigate the menu with charm & his recommendations were very good: focus gras, escargot, medium rare magret, bouvette rare, & the code were outstanding
Wine pairing & the cocktail - last word , were spot on!
& you cannot leave without the key lime pie!
Highly recommended
Annie is the best server, she was so supportive & knowledgeable. She gave us food recommendations with delicious wine pairings. The food was amazing & I had go pause between each bite to savor it
We made a reservation two months in advance for a Friday night to celebrate our friend's birthday. The place still has that cool, chalet-style vibe & the service was genuinely great. The wine list is impressive, especially the local selections.
Unfortunately, the food fell short this time. The risotto was mushy, the tomahawk was undercooked twice-even after clearly requesting medium both times-& the sauce was missing. The scallops were elastic & lacked flavor. On the positive side, the corn & onion soup were outstanding. Our server was incredibly kind & took the tomahawk off the bill, which we appreciated.
This was our second visit, & compared to last year, the quality has dropped significantly. We were so satisfied before, so I might give them another chance next year, but I'd likely explore other options first.
Totally hygge dining in a cozy log cabin with a roaring fire. 20 minute walk from Tremblant ski village or free shuttle. We sat at the bar for our return after many years & were spoiled with personal attention & suggestions from the owner, sommelier, waitstaff & bartender. Wine list was incredibly reasonable & the sommelier didn't at all push pricy options. Snails in creamy garlic were perfect, beef cheeks were melt in your mouth tender. & the key lime pie is as good as its reputation. Tart & light. Lovely walk back around the lake to the village with the lights on the mountain twinkling like stars.
Our meal was fantastic, & the service was perfect. We had the duck & cod, & our kids had the bavette & frites -- we all loved our meals. Also the salad was fantastic. Wine recommendations were perfection -- & we were happy that they were Quebec wines. We'll definitely be back. I'll be telling everyone to come to this restaurant as soon as I hear they're going to be in Mont Tremblant.
Every course was delicious! Service is friendly & attentive. Great atmosphere, large selection of wine & succulent dishes. Will definitely come back!
