About

La Petite Cachée focuses on a rustic Mediterranean culinary approach that emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients prepared with traditional techniques. The menu centers on hearth-baked flatbreads, vibrant vegetable compositions, and grilled proteins seasoned with robust herb blends characteristic of coastal regions. Exposed wooden beams and natural stone elements define the interior architecture, creating an environment that feels grounded and connected to its natural surroundings. Patrons encounter a thoughtfully curated selection of dishes that prioritize textural contrast and balanced acidity. The kitchen maintains a steady commitment to flavor authenticity, ensuring each plate reflects the distinct cultural origins of its ingredients. This establishment operates as a straightforward destination for those seeking a focused Mediterranean menu served in an intentionally tactile, comfortable, and well-designed physical space.

Review Summary

La Petite Cachée is widely regarded as a premier dining destination in the Mont Tremblant area, celebrated for its cozy, chalet-style atmosphere and high-quality, flavorful dishes like the filet mignon, tuna tataki, and key lime pie. Many guests praise the attentive and professional service provided by the staff, often highlighting specific servers for their knowledgeable recommendations and warm hospitality. While the vast majority of diners describe their experience as exceptional and note that the restaurant is a must-visit gem, some feedback points to inconsistencies regarding food temperatures, cooking times for certain meats, and occasional service delays during busy periods. Despite these isolated concerns about portion sizes or noise levels, most visitors find the culinary quality and charming, relaxed setting to be well worth the price and frequently express their intention to return.

We visited the restaurant in early January as a family & had a wonderful meal. We spent the day on the slopes, & La Petite Cachee is such a cozy space to spend an evening.

We each had an appetizer & a main. The service was incredible & we will return very soon.

It's a very cozy place, with a nice ambience. We tried the red pepper soup, the duck, the trout, & the risotto. All of them very good. For dessert we tried the key lime pie & a traditional pudding with maple, both delicious. We were able to get a table the same day.

Totally hygge dining in a cozy log cabin with a roaring fire. 20 minute walk from Tremblant ski village or free shuttle. We sat at the bar for our return after many years & were spoiled with personal attention & suggestions from the owner, sommelier, waitstaff & bartender. Wine list was incredibly reasonable & the sommelier didn't at all push pricy options. Snails in creamy garlic were perfect, beef cheeks were melt in your mouth tender. & the key lime pie is as good as its reputation. Tart & light. Lovely walk back around the lake to the village with the lights on the mountain twinkling like stars.

It's very cozy & cute restaurant to finish the weekend. Food is okay, nothing special to be honest. I expect the'yummmm!' sound at that price point which I didn't get. That's why giving 4 stars. To give more content, here is what we had: 2 french onion soups, 1 fillet mignon, 1 cote de beuf, 1 key lime pie, 1 bottle of red wine($65), the total amount was around $280. We get a fine dining experience with this kind of price point usually.

Loved this French restaurant! It was super cozy inside & everything was delicious! I especially loved the linguine with lobster bisque. The desserts were also excellent!
