I had a great time at La Finca while visiting for a local coffee festival. The staff were so lovely & gave amazing service - the barista, the servers, the person at register - everyone! The whole cafe had a very welcoming vibe & I wish I lived in Montreal so I could come more often. I ordered a matcha & a cortado & both were great with the perfect ratios of milk.
For anyone leaving a negative review due to what they might have seen recently on Instagram, I highly urge you to look at the incident from multiple perspectives. As someone that works in hospitality industry, I understand how hard it is to separate my personal life & work. Filming a barista & sharing it on the internet is a threat to their privacy. A worker is not a representation of an entire company & should be treated with respect.
If you like boho-artsy-scandinavian vibes, this is a café for you. If you don't mind quite high prices & an early closing hour, you will enjoy this aesthetic, cute (a bit crowded sometimes) space. There is also a shop with coffee & Montreal souvenirs, if you have extra money to spend. I ordered a cortado & sablé pastry - one of many interesting pastries they had to offer - & everything was delicious.

This cafe is amazing! The food is always good, the service is top, the people are friendly & have the right attitude. It's become a regular quick bite spot for me on Sundays. The little backyard vibe they have in the summer is cool too, feels like I'm somewhere else.
La Finca Café in Old Montreal looks amazing: green, cozy, & the kind of place you'd want to chill in. But the coffee & food? Not it. I ordered a cappuccino & ended up with a latte, no foam in sight. The chocolate cookie topped with sea salt sounded promising, but the heavy sprinkle of raw salt turned it into more of a sodium rush than a sweet treat.
What really threw me off was the service speed. With four employees behind the counter, I figured I'd be sipping my drink in under five minutes, but that wasn't the case at all.
& then there's the size... only one option, a'extra small' For $5+tax, I expected a bit more than a tiny cup. Quality didn't make up for the quantity, & honestly, I walked away feeling shortchanged.
The atmosphere is the best part of the café, no question. I just wish the coffee & cookie matched the vibe. Hopefully next time it'll be a better experience.
There are plenty of coffee shops near our hotel, but we were lucky to discover this one. When we arrived, there was a long line, but the service was fast, so it never felt like a problem. I wish I had asked the name of the lady at the cashier-she was incredibly friendly & welcoming, even though she was busy.
I ordered a matcha latte & a breakfast danish, & both were delicious! Exactly what I needed to start the morning: a positive vibe, a simple breakfast, & great taste. Honestly, it's a 1000/10!
The vibe is nice like other cafés where w
Pwople can meet & work remoyely from there. My latte waas alright but not the best i ever had. The cortado was intense & good accordto my bf.
This morning, my wife & I visited La Finca Café in Montréal for the first time, & it was a delightful experience. Nestled in the heart of the city, this charming neighborhood café offers a perfect blend of warmth & sophistication. The ambiance immediately stood out-a cozy yet modern space with a welcoming vibe. The café's clean, minimalist design was complemented by soft lighting & a mix of patrons working, chatting, or simply enjoying their coffee. The subtle hum of conversation & the faint aroma of freshly brewed coffee created a relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a casual breakfast or lunch. The food was equally impressive. My wife opted for the Frittata, which was light, flavorful, & perfectly paired with a creamy Latte. I went for the Yogurt granola, a refreshing & well-balanced dish with just the right sweetness, alongside a buttery Croissant that was flaky & delicious. To top it off, I tried one of their Smoothies, which was fresh & vibrant, leaving me energized for the day ahead. The quality of the ingredients was evident, & the focus on local & fine products truly elevated the experience. The service was outstanding. Gabriel, our server, was attentive, friendly, & knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent recommendations & ensured our visit was seamless from start to finish. His warm demeanor added a personal touch to the experience, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Overall, La Finca Café impressed us with its inviting ambiance, high-quality food, & impeccable service. It's a spot we'd happily return to & recommend to anyone looking for a memorable café experience in Montréal.
Really enjoyed the shakshuka & cinnamon roll. My wife had a frittata that we pretty decent though somewhat under seasoned. Cute vibe with really nice employees. Great little breakfast cafe.
This is a cute little cafe that we came across. Food was delicious & the service was phenomenal. Love the cute vibe of the cafe. Highly recommend this place.
We came in late morning on a summer weekday & this place was really busy, but we were able to place our order & got the food quickly! Also love the vibe & art work on the walls. Highlights-the coffee products & sweets were delicious. So was the shakshuka. The frittata -perhaps canadian frittatas are different but all the folks in our party that tried it thought that it was off. Bottom line - have anything besides the frittata & you & your stomach will be happy.
