I'm sure all their food is great, but I wouldn't know... I got the Barros Luco sandwich the first time I went & fell in love with it. I can't not get it every time I go. The staff are really nice, too!

Without a doubt some of the best food I've had, period! Incredible Chilean sandwiches & empanadas! If I lived in Montreal I'd definitely come here at least once a week! Home style cooking with a lot of care clearly put in. Flavours are amazing & everything is reasonably priced. In addition to sandwiches & empanadas, they have a wide range of other dishes like tacos, quesadillas, & other Mexican & South American staples. Service is very friendly & accommodating, & the parkette outside is the perfect setting to enjoy your meal. Definitely a spot I'll go out of my way to stop at anytime I'm in Montreal & will definitely recommend to anyone I know who's visiting. Highly, highly recommend!

Ça fait une vingtaine d'années que je fréquente la Chilenita & je n'ai jamais commandé un empanada. Pourquoi? Parce que c'est difficile de ne pas commander un Barros Luco. Un des meilleurs sandwichs rapport qualité/prix à Montréal, minces tranches de boeuf, tomates, avocat & leur délicieux fromage sur pain frais. Essayez-le & vous m'en remercierai, c'est un des meilleurs en ajoutant la sauce piquante (qui est plutôt douce). Service timide mais efficace, le local n'a pas particulièrement de charme mais est tapissé ici & là de rappels chiliens. $18 sandwich + Jarritos avec les taxes. Belle endroit pour aller manger des empanadas fraîche, des sandwichs, désert, churros, café etc etc il y a aussi une belle place dehors avec des tables & chaises pour prendre le soleil & manger à l'extérieur. Place tranquille & très accueillant. Merci à Michel pour être là & faire tout un différence avec la concurrence.
