Honestly, the experience was a bit underwhelming. The service was okay, but we had to get the waitress's attention several times, & the wait for drinks was quite long throughout the evening. I understand there was a hockey game on, but we were there to celebrate my birthday & were hoping for a more attentive experience.
We were a table of four with a bill of $375, & it likely would have been higher with better service. It felt like a missed opportunity. Also, just to clarify, we were not over-served.
Excellent service on Super Bowl night- very fast & efficient service. Food came out quick & tasted great! Our server Jeff was awesome!! We were not there for the whole game as we were travelling from Montreal to Ottawa with our tired kids post soccer tournament & needed a bite to eat- but honestly so glad we stopped in here - it was so busy but we were sat instantly & had food & drinks so fast! Thank you & well done will be back again

Good place overall, but 3 stars due to the mixed washroom, come on, specially in a bar were guys & women are drinking putting everybody together, there's nothing good coming from that decision, there's going to be a lawsuit soon imo. Except for that detail, good place for not too serious occasions.
My Fiance & I got an invite to come back by the manager Emmanuel. Let me tell you what a huge difference it was. He was our server & above & beyond, not only for us but for his whole section. He was amazing.
We started with the nachos dunk which were great. It was Friday so my fiance had a complimentary Caesar to drink. For our mains she had the Tuna Tataki Bowl which she loved. I ordered the New York Biftek which ok, kind of chewy & not a lot of flavour.
Overall the night was great from service to atmosphere to the food with the stark being the only drawback.

Went for dinner with my fiance to La Cage in Vaudreuil last night. We were segued by the bar at a table. The host was amazing, very friendly & explained club cage to us so I downloaded the app & signed up.
A few minutes late a server came up & she took our drink order, another server came up & just as she was starting talk the first brought our drinks & the second server said'you're lucky since you have 2 of us' that was the last time either of the 2 servers came to our table or said anything us. We sat there for over 30 min waiting for our order to be taken as the servers walked by our table 6 times. There were 2 tables that were seated after us & they were looked after & placed their order while we were ignored.
We got up & walked out & asked the host to speak to a manager. He went to get him & came back & said he's'really busy right now'. Not what I wanted to hear after waiting over half hour to have nobody acknowledge us. He asked if there was anything he could do & I explained the situation to him, he was very apologetic & asked if we wanted to be seated in another section but we had somewhere to go & didn't have time. He said he will take down my name & phone number & the manger will give me a call. It's now been over 24hrs & I have yet to receive a phone call. The whole situation was & is being handled unprofessionally with a huge lack a customer service except for the host who was amazing.
We ended up having to go eat somewhere quickly but not what we wanted for our'date night'
La cage is a great bar overall to watch the hockey games! Its an amazing atmosphere & you feel like you are at the game! The food is decent for typical pub food which is perfect for watching games, my only thing is that the food is way overpriced for what it is but other than that it's a great time!! Drinks are good & decently priced!
Drinks are good but the food is tasteless honestly. The burgers used to be good few years back now it's whatever, fries are not well cooked almost raw. We ordered the salmon plate & also not cooked enough we returned it twice asking to grill it more but at the 3rd round still the same... We ended up leaving the food as is & the worse is the cook comes asking what is the problem so we explained to her but instead of apologizing or at least removing something from our bill ( because we didn't eat anyways) she was mean & said that's the way it should be cooked. Bottom line if you want to grab a drink it's a good place but don't eat there & don't expect a good service

Drinks were good. The food was a bit tasteless to be honest, the pasta ravioli didn't had any flavour. The cauliflower bites were the best part. I like the vibes & the location. Food could be better.
Got seated fast but then waited a ridiculously long time for the menus, then to order our drinks which we said we were also ready to order food but she didn't take the order for the food. We had 3 young kids under 4 with us & they were already starting to be over it. We were hungry. Drinks arrive about 20 minutes later & we finally order our food. Another 20 minutes to receive the entrees & we asked for the kids plates. She waited for our entrees to be finished before putting in our main meals through the kitchen. Waited about 45 minutes for our tartares to arrive which mine was tasteless. Didnt even bother saying a thing I simply left it a quarter eaten & we asked for the bill. We were fed up. Hubby asked for another beer during his main meal & it was forgotten twice!! She came twice at the table to see us empty-handed & then blamed the forgotten beer on the computer system. Kids desserts she offers mr.freeze which the kids get excited about & then comes back to say they arent frozen enough. Anyways we are usually happy with this place but today we are over it. Hoping you guys find more staff because we for sure wont be back with this kind of service for 200$!
I have visited here a few times with my kids. We love the free popcorn that you can serve yourself. Not to mention $3 kids meals with refillable drinks & ice cream for dessert.
Austin our server was super friendly, patient & checked on us at the perfect times. He put a huge smile on my girls faces so that really made our outing extra special !
I would recommend this spot for friends, family's, date night & everything in between 🙂
