KINTON RAMEN opened its first location in May 2012, debuting as Toronto’s first authentic Japanese ramen bar. With a dedicated focus on ramen, executive chef Aki Urata is uncompromising in his pursuit to serve the best quality noodles and broth. Our experienced ramen chefs prepare each and every topping, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. At KINTON RAMEN we invite you to experience our variety of exceptional ramen bowls, right down to the last drop.
Reviewers describe Kinton Ramen as a cozy, welcoming spot with consistently delicious ramen, rich broths, generous portions, and a wide range of options from spicy garlic pork to miso, shoyu, and jalapeno chicken, with sides like gyoza and takoyaki also praised; the atmosphere is lively and the service is often described as fast, attentive, and friendly, helping diners choose and feel at home, though some note higher prices, occasional long waits, and occasional issues such as missing ingredients or insufficient broth on takeout; overall, experiences are largely positive with many calling it a dependable favorite and a place that captures a strong sense of hospitality and quality.
The food was good overall, I had a bad digestion after it , but the ramen seems non cooker properly , over all the ambiance was good & the service was great. The food came quick, & everything was ok, expect that the glass we have was broken, it seem that it fall on the floor & they put it back on the table. The glass they give us water was also dirty, please make sure to be all clean, because it can really go bad really fast when it comes with food safety.

First of all, the place was packed on a Monday evening which is an indication in itself. The atmosphere is lovely but subtle. It was literally my first time eating ramen...Took beef bowl with the entree of 4 pork gyoza, came with a soft drink for 26$ . Other people at the table had chicken & spicy & vege variations. We all loved our meal. The star for me was the beef, so tender & seared on the grill, it was perfection.
Need a better service during rush hour, usually it's pretty good until you get to the rush hours. Last time I was there, they placed me right in front of the prep station (not the best place when you are famished to be honest...), it took a little over an hour until I got my bowl & sitting there in front, just seeing bowls after bowls leave, it's not helping... My appetizer took a while to do, then once finished, it took forever for my ramen. All I saw was them stacking bowls & making 3-4 tables at once, also serve them all at once. I'm here wondering, why aren't they just making table by table? I do understand, it does help yes, but me, being alone & right in front of them, I'm starving to death here, couldn't they just make my bowl quick & just give? No, I had to wait another 5 to 10 mins for them to prep the other bowls for the other tables... So If you ever go there, avoid rush hours.

Honestly, not crazy about this spot. The soup didn't taste like anything exceptional, very basic & in my opinion, overpriced. You have to pay lots of extras if you want more toppings & flavour but it's just broth. The fried dumplings are just frozen then fried dumplings so nothing crazy. I personally would not go back here for ramen...
Restaurant super agréable , serveur trés compétent , leur soupe ramen super bonne & rempli d'ingrédiant(malgré que certain doivent être commandé en extra ) . Je reviendrai certainement !!
It's an okay ramen joint but obviously can't be compared with Sansotei Ramen. Everything is acceptable, but I can't find myself to like the flavor, not deep enough, sometimes too salty & confusing. I personally do not like the seating layout because it's all cramped, & the slot under our chair is not big enough for winter coats. Hangers are available in the front door, I'm not so sure if that is safe. Please change the spoon, I really find it hard to eat with a giant wooden scoop/spoon.
On a commandé d'autre Dumpling car c'était bon & on avait faim.

Fantastic authentic ramen, the service is great & everything is reasonably priced! A great place to go for a quick lunch or a Friday night with friends! Love the vibe too!
