This was one my favourite places in Montreal, I went 2 days ago the food tasted really weird & not tasty at all like it used to be, meat wasn't good, hummus with meat wasn't good, something was wrong with either the meat or the seasoning used. I ordered Mawzat Friki & kafta karaz & both tasted equally bad. Very disappointed, I hope it was just a one bad experience. It wasn't just me my girlfriend felt the same too

Food is so excellent, tasty, fills you with flavours & takes you places you never travelled before while sitting at the heart of Montreal. I went there unsure of what to expect & left with great memories & amazing taste!
Must visit & absolutely one of the icons of the street in the area.
Great Lebanese food, super tasty especially the kefta karaz. A great place to enjoys lots of food with people. The seating arrangement could be better though, & loud overall.
We decided to go small plates / entres instead of getting main courses. Everything was tasty & reminded me of dining in a good Lebanese restaurant in the Middle East. Wish they allowed to order one lamp chop as listed on the menu instead of insisting minimum 2 (kinda deceiving- they should just change the menu to list 2 chops instead of singular).
Waiter is from France/ Algeria. We paid a nice tip for his friendly & attentive service. Great ambience.

The staff Ahmed was very attentive, the food is fresh & tasty, & dishes are served quickly.
Food is outstanding!! If you are looking for amazing Lebanese food, look no further. It's super tasty, authentic & the service is A1. Definitely in the top 10 restaurants in Mtl in my opinion!
The food was so good! We took a few mezze & bigger plates, with arak & wine. The desserts too were tasty, would definitely recommend! The service was also excellent, very friendly & helpful staff, could answer questions & make suggestions when we asked. Very clean also.
Yummy Lebanese food. We were visting from Ottawa (where there is a shawarma place at every corner) but I had yet to experience middle eastern food like this! Everything tasted fresh, healthy, & tasty (especiallytha fattouche salad). Two of us shared four plates & we did not feel like we over-ate. Service was great - plates started arriving within minutes of ordering, & were cleared as soon as they were empty. Atmosphere is cozy, but it felt like a tight space (mainly for adults). I will definitely visit again!
Amazing middle eastern Lebanese cuisine. The best we've had in Montreal so far. Not very fancy (& subsequently reasonable) but authentic delicious clean healthy food. Fattoush & egg plant fatteh (makdous) to die for!! Cherry (karaz) Kafta dish so unique & tasty. Excellent dining experience. Reserve before going, it can get crowded, as it is justifiably popular. A bit out of downtown, but a short Uber would do it, or a 30min walk in good weather. Enjoy!

Kaza Maza never disappoints. The kibbe neyeh is utterly delicious, as is the hindbe. We also enjoyed the lebne & baba ghanoush very much. I thought the kibbe "footballs" with spinach very tasty, though my date was only so so on them. Overall a wonderful meal.
