Nice restaurant with a lovely variety of choices. The main dishes were great, with delicious lamb & flavourful sauces ( mawzats & keftas ). We appreciated the cocktail list as well as the choices offered with Arak liquor. Our server was helpful & patient. Nice interior. We wished our pita came hot & fresh with the different dips offered as appetizers. Balaklava was however on the dryer & colder side.
Kaza Maza is one of those rare restaurants that manages to feel both welcoming & exciting the moment you step inside. Located right on Parc Avenue, it offers a warm, inviting space that immediately sets the stage for a memorable meal. The atmosphere is relaxed & friendly, making it an ideal place to gather with friends or family, & the cozy little terrace is a real bonus when the weather is nice.
The food is the star here. Kaza Maza serves a wonderful variety of Middle Eastern dishes that are clearly prepared with care & fresh ingredients. The menu is built for sharing, which is perfect if you love sampling a bit of everything. From vibrant mezze plates to richly spiced mains, every dish bursts with authentic flavor & thoughtful seasoning. It's the kind of food that encourages conversation as you pass plates around the table, making it as social as it is delicious.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality & variety you get, & the service strikes just the right balance-attentive without ever being pushy. Whether you're already a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or simply curious to try something new, Kaza Maza is a must-visit. It's the kind of restaurant you'll want to return to again & again.
Super tasty dishes bursting with flavour. Service was fast & friendly. The atmosphere is lively but on the noisy side.
Overall we had a lovely dinner here. The place was intimate & charming. Although I thought the tables were a bit too close to each other. We started with the fattouche salad & the baba ghanoush which were both solid options. For our mains we got the lamb shank (fattet mawzat) & the kefta karaz. The lamb shank was our favourite dish as it was fall off the bone & the yogurt sauce complimented it nicely. The kefta karaz was good but reminded me of ikea meatballs since the cranberry sauce reminded of the lingonberry jam. It was still very good but not our fave. The portions were generous & the price was very affordable. All dishes were delicious but nothing blew me away. Would definitely come back though!
I highly recommend this Lebanese restaurant - the food so magical & tasty !
The staff Ahmed was very attentive, the food is fresh & tasty, & dishes are served quickly.
The restaurant was quite good, with fresh & flavorful dishes that were satisfying. The service was acceptable. It's a nice spot for a meal, slightly above average, & worth a visit.
One of my favourite middle eastern restaurants in the city. I recommend all my friends to eat here. My favourite dish was the lamb, tahini sauce with the rice. I still dream about that dish. Price for the dishes were reasonable. Service was very good & fast. Highly recommend if you love middle eastern food or you're just looking for something different to try.
If you were a foodie who love try amazing food, here will have an excellent experience with Middle-Eastern cuisine. Had hummus, Fattouche ,keftas & FATTET MAKDOUS. Pretty much love all the dishes:) worth to try
This is a top Mediterranean restaurant with delicious plates. Try the chicken, the kebab, the fattoush & the fatteh dishes. Also try the rose lemonade. A must try & retry restaurant!
A true gem in the heart of Montreal. I feel like this place isn't raved about enough! Incredible isn't even the word to describe the quality of the menu, its flavours, its dishes- everything. I travel often to the Middle East & this is the closest thing to that. Hate to say it... it's even better!!!!!!!! I would give this place a 12/10. An absolute MUST-GO if you want to experience true high quality middle eastern dishes. Try the lamb hummus, the kibbeh & the Kefta Karaz. Literally there's nothing like it. We were 4 & the bill was 200$ & we ate literally everything!!!!!
This is our first visit to this restaurant, party of 5.. Dishes we tried: moutabbal, hummus with meat, nakanek, aries, tabbouleh, grilled chicken, fatteh, grilled kafta, & kafta with tahini. I have to admit, we were pleasently surprised with the food. It gets 9/10, & that is the highest I ever rated. Rice with kardamom was excellent so are all the other dishes. I would recommend to anyone who has good taste palette. Just make sure you booked a day or two in advance. Prices can be better though. But not overly priced for the quality.
Wow! This was delicious & well-priced authentic Lebanese food. Make sure to reserve in advance because they are always full. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!
This Lebanese restaurant is a gem, offering excellent quality food & drinks. The service is great, especially if you arrive early. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere even during the week, contributing to a good overall vibe. We tried various dishes & were impressed by each one, which makes us eager to come back & explore more of the menu.
Great gem of Lebanese food in Montreal! The dishes are priced in the upper echelon relative to other restaurants, but you get quality ingredients & great portion sizes. The braised lamb is simply delicious, & so are the makanek. The restaurant is rightfully always full so I recommend making a reservation. The atmosphere is certainly that of a nice sit down experience, not a fast bite in & out. Service is good & warm, although it can be slightly forgetful when it gets busy. Still very acceptable & hospitable.
Some dishes were good but most too salty. Some dishes were not authentic.
This is definitely one of the better restaurants I've been to. It is a bit outside of downtown Montreal, but you can walk it in about 35 minutes, or take a taxi or bus. For appetizers, try the fattouch salad (excellent), & for cold dishes, we had the muttabal & mousaqa'a, which they bring you plenty of pita bread for, & both were extraordinary. Then, definitely give the giant shrimp with saffron tomato white wine sauce, perfectly cooked giant shrimp in a great sauce. Great atmosphere, very well priced for Montreal, & as good as or better than anything else you'll find in the city.

Second time visiting from Ottawa & we had a good experience. Two of our dishes were were overcooked/burned. Service was friendly when available.

We absolutely loved our entire experience! From the delicious food to the beautiful ambiance to the impeccable service. Our waitress was super helpful in helping us decide the dishes to order & it didn't disappoint! I will most definitely return!
