I went back today for the first time in a year & the food was not good at all. The only decent plate was the Fattoush salad, all the other plates were not enjoyable. Something tasted very off with the hummus & meat appetizer , we couldn't even finish it. Very disappointed with the drop in the quality & taste of the food. I will sadly not be returning.
It's been a long time since I have had excellent Lebanese food that exceeded my expectations.
KazaMaza came highly recommended, & as such my expectations were high.
KazaMaza delivered on everything. Cozy restaurant that comes with the friendliest service, & high quality tasty dishes.
The kefta karaz was excellent, so were the mawzat friki, samakeh harra & kibbi neye.
Hoping to return again & again.
Food quality was normal. Don't expect something special. Honestly, I got disappointed considering its rating. Portions are a bit small in my opinion (my food was cold as well!). The restaurent is beautiful & cute, however, they have ruined the atmoshphere with they way they are managing. It is dark & super noisy. All the tables are packed to have as mush customer as possible in a way that there is no privacy & it is hard to hear each other (imagine that it's a birthday of a person in that environment, OH MY GOD!). We entered the retaurent at 9:30 & left by 10:00 due to headache!
Wonderful food, very carefully seasoned. Staff is very nice & professional. Prices are surprisingly low for the quality. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
**Kaza Maza is one of those rare Lebanese restaurants that never disappoints. I've known this place for a long time, & the quality has remained consistently excellent over the years. The food is authentic, fresh, & truly great value for the price.
What really sets Kaza Maza apart is the owner, Fady. He is an absolutely magnificent person-very welcoming, incredibly generous, & always personally taking care of his clients. You can genuinely feel the passion & love he puts into this restaurant.
The ambiance is amazing, with beautiful Lebanese music that makes you feel right at home. It's a true Lebanese atmosphere where you see people from all nationalities coming together to enjoy great food & a warm experience.
Kaza Maza is not just a restaurant, it's a place you keep coming back to.**
Kaza Maza is one of those rare restaurants that manages to feel both welcoming & exciting the moment you step inside. Located right on Parc Avenue, it offers a warm, inviting space that immediately sets the stage for a memorable meal. The atmosphere is relaxed & friendly, making it an ideal place to gather with friends or family, & the cozy little terrace is a real bonus when the weather is nice.
The food is the star here. Kaza Maza serves a wonderful variety of Middle Eastern dishes that are clearly prepared with care & fresh ingredients. The menu is built for sharing, which is perfect if you love sampling a bit of everything. From vibrant mezze plates to richly spiced mains, every dish bursts with authentic flavor & thoughtful seasoning. It's the kind of food that encourages conversation as you pass plates around the table, making it as social as it is delicious.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality & variety you get, & the service strikes just the right balance-attentive without ever being pushy. Whether you're already a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or simply curious to try something new, Kaza Maza is a must-visit. It's the kind of restaurant you'll want to return to again & again.
Very pleased with the quality & presentation. Service was excellent! Ordered a'Mexican style beer' (Lager served in a cold glass with a rim of salt & lemon juice at the bottom), kebbeh nayyeh (meat tartare), rekakat (cheese rolls, I totally recommend them!), sizzling makanek in pomegranate molasses (sausages), batata (potato) & delicious kefta karaz with fried pita. Recommended portions for 2 people: 3-4 appetizers + 1 main to share.
A true Lebanese gem in Montreal. The food is authentic & well prepared, service is fast & proper, & prices are fair relative to both quality & quantity. The restaurant has a nostalgic Lebanese charm that reminds me of back home.
Amazing food , perfect hospitality, very cheap price for the quality
