sauce(61) cheese(46) chicken(44) udon(42) pork(42) soup(38) recommend(35) japanese(31) curry(30) crispy(28) sweet(28) carbonara(27)It was okay, but I was quite disappointed. The tonkatsu was a bit overcooked & dry, the rice was straight out bad. Lettuce was fine, portion size quite large. The sauce had good flavour notes but I felt like it was a bit too acidic. All in all, it's acceptable but not the high quality I was hoping for to match the ones I had in Japan. EDIT: tried again, the pork was a bit better this time & the rice was decent. Not Japan quality, but miles better than anything else in Montreal. The'japanese sauce' remains way too acidic, tastes almost only like vinegar. Next time I'll try another sauce I guess.
good food i really like how they seperate the bills bc me n my friend shared so they automatically split it between just me n him thats so smart i love them for that + the waitress made sure for each order by asking us again to confirm which is very considerate!!
Great experience! I loved this place & I've been eating here frequently since I arrived in Montreal!
Friendly neighbourhood eatery serving Japanese & Korean katsu dishes.
Nice & quick service. The food was very good. The homemade lemonade tastes like yuzu - very refreshing.
