Absolutely delicious! The cod recommended by the server was excellent, & the mushroom side dish was just as impressive. The bartender, a genuinely friendly man, customized a cocktail to suit my taste - a nice touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. I come to this restaurant often because the dishes are consistently flavorful & well-executed.
My bill came to $200 for a cocktail, one main dish, a vegetable side, & a glass of wine. It's not cheap, but the food & service are definitely worth the price. Highly recommended for a refined yet welcoming dining experience.
J'ai adoré mon expérience au Jatoba. Le service était impeccable : les serveurs ont su nous suggérer d'excellents plats.
La nourriture était succulente, & même le chef est venu nous saluer, ce qui a ajouté une belle touche personnelle.
J'aime beaucoup ce restaurant : les aliments sont frais, les saveurs sont recherchées, & chaque bouchée est une véritable explosion en bouche !
Je le recommande fortement.
Atmosphère soignée & très agréable;,nourriture raffinée, recherchée; à un niveau supérieur; cocktails d'exception & que dire du service hors pair & extrêmement courtois & réactif de tout le personnel! & le dessert au caramel qui nous tirait presque les larmes aux yeux de bonheur, comme dans le film Ratatouille! 🤣😇Juste Wow! Nous nous sentions dans un lieu d'exception. Une EXPÉRIENCE vraiment des plus agréable. Je recommande & nous y retournerons assurément. Ça vaut chaque dollars dépensés! Merci

Notre serveuse s'est occupé de choisir nos plats du début à la fin, tout était excellent. Des cocktails délicieux, une carte des vins super & des plats extraordinaires! Je recommande fortement!
4.5/5 étoiles. Très belle expérience. Le restaurant est sublime peu importe où nous sommes situés. Un conseil: réserver la terrasse intérieure entourée de plantes. Les aliments sont très frais. Les goûts sont frais. Les plats sont variés. Les prix sont variés offrant un lieu de dégustation pour tous les budgets. La présentation est très agréable. De la gastronomie japonaise. Le Jatoba honore sa réputation. Je recommande fortement.
Jatoba was fantastic! We went for their NYE special & everything was amazing from the food to the service. Thomas & Marie were very attentive throughout the night & so kind. The detail that the chef did for the menu was out of this world. Highly recommend, will come back next trip to Montreal

Une expérience impeccable pour un anniversaire. J'ai déjà recommandé chaleureusement le Jatoba à mes amis. Les cocktails sont savoureux & inspirés. J'ai mangé le meilleur sashimi. Il n'y a aucun mauvais choix sur la carte. La carte des sakés est impressionnante. Vraiment un coup de coeur. Nous y retournerons.
Belle endroit pour manger entre amis & boire un bon verre! L'ambiance est amusante & le décor est incroyable! Niveau nourriture tout était délicieux, excellent dumping, sushi, filet mignon! Nous avons adoré notre expérience! On recommande!.
I have been to Jatoba twice so far & had the pleasure of having Catherine as our waitress. Highly recommend asking for her she is fantastic. We had her choose options on the menu for us based on our preferences & she nailed it. Very high quality food on the pricier side but worth it! Would go back & would recommend, thank you Catherine!
phenomenal venue, great service from the sever & bartender Pierre, sitting at the bar is a great experience- we couldn't decide what to order so they created a mini tasting menu for us - chef came over to say hi, which was lovely! we loved everything highly recommended
It's important to note that although this restaurant is very good, it is very expensive & clients should know this beforehand. Cost over 300$ for two people, & this is with only one alcohol beverage. However, we did leave very full. The atmosphere is amazing, the decor is phenomenal & it feels very cozy. Great date place. The service was very good, hostess at front was kind & happy. Our waiter(male with moustache), did not make any mistakes, & came to see us the perfect amount of times, however the person I brought here felt like he was never smiling & looked annoyed to serve us, which can make people feel uncomfortable. We understand that working in the service industry is not always easy & fun, but in restaurants where there is a tip at the end & you have an extremely high bill, it doesn't leave a customer feeling like they want to tip. So the person I brought here felt sour to leave so much money to the waiter after feeling like we were a burden to him. The menu is very big, which is shocking for a place with a lot of quality because that is hard to achieve. It allows people with different food tastes to come; they hold seafood, meats, dumplings, salads, sushi, rice options, & more. It was wonderful to have such options. I do recommend this restaurant to anyone who doesn't have a budget & wants to experience a fun cozy & quality evening.
Splendid food quality. All aspects are well covered: flavors, textures, ingredient combination, freshness. However, service was a bit slow in between courses making the experience a bit flat & interrupted the flow. Great atmosphere & music. I would recommend this excellent restaurant
Bonjour, nous sommes allés manger à ce resto le 29 août 2024 pour fêter les 20 ans de ma fille. Malheureusement, ma fille & moi avons été déçues de notre expérience. Les assiettes étaient belles mais le goût n'y était pas. Nous avons commandé un gyosa qui était très fade, un maki saumon épicé qui n'était pas épicé, une salade de mangue papaye qui n'avait pas de goût. La papaye était très croquante & il n'y avait pas ou peu de marinade alors nous avions l'impression de manger juste de la papaye crue. Nous avons cherché la mangue. Une assiette de quatre crevettes tempura, correcte, mais ça reste 4 crevettes & la sauce était très basique pour une entrée à 48$, ça fait chère la crevette. Seul le Virgin Jatoba que ma fille a commandé était très bon. C'est navrant mais nous avons décidé d'en rester là pour la soirée. J'espère que ce n'était qu'une malchance mais à 144$ avant le pourboire, ce n'était définitivement pas à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous avons également trouvé le personnel de service hautin. Nous avions l'impression que nous n'étions pas assez jetset pour le décor. C'est dommage car ce restaurant nous avait été recommandée chaudement par une amie. Meilleure chance la prochaine fois! (En passant j'ai mis la même note sur Libro).
