Beautiful experience once again. Great brunch place, beautiful decor & excellent service. The food is always well presented. Need to get there early, ideally before 11h am, even on a Monday for brunch as it get's crowded very quickly.
Janine Café is absolutely amazing! The service is outstanding - warm, attentive, & truly welcoming. The food is just as impressive: the mushrooms were incredibly flavorful, the toast was soft & fluffy with the perfect texture, & the roasted chicken was tender, juicy, & packed with taste. Everything came together to make a wonderful brunch experience. I'll definitely be coming back here on my next visit - without a doubt, this is the number one brunch spot in Montreal!
Tout est toujours délicieux ! A la carte : deux plats végétariens & un plat vegan. L'attente est souvent très longue en fin de semaine même si le restaurant essaye de rendre cela le plus agréable possible (petite dégustation de brioche ou de chocolat chaud en hiver). La mise en place d'une liste avec prise du numéro de téléphone serait quand même très appréciée.
the food was very flavourful & very light.Service was decent & the atmosphere was very calm & relaxing. also,the smoke salmon & the veggies in the latkes
were very fresh .Overall a very good experience.
Mais que dire, ce restaurant a été notre perle rare découvert cet été à Verdun, le service est impeccable, le repas est excellent, les jus & le café mokaccino sont délicieux & la brioche à la cannelle un incontournable. Bref tout dépassait mes attentes. J'y retournerai assurément.

Je suis venue pour le brunch. C'était très bon. Je ne suis pas contre pas certaine si c'est vraiment possible d'amener les enfants ou bébé en général. Les toilettes sont munies d'une place pour changer les enfants. Il y a des menus avec crayons de cire. Il y avait des enfants & bébé. Par contre, les serveurs n'avaient pas l'air très contents que nous apportions nos enfants. Le vibe est plutôt brunch chic. Je reviendrais pour une sortie en amoureux ou une sortie de fille sans les enfants par contre! Enfant qui dort ou silencieux oui.
Si vous êtes prêts s faire la file pendant 30 a 50 minutes le samedi ou dimanche matin pour des tartines certes bonnes, que vous ne craignez pas d avoir un service ultra Long (personnel en sous effectif) tant pour vous prendre la commande que pour vous la servir & pour vous apportez l'addition. Vous attendrez tout le temps pour tout. Si vous êtes du genre patient ou que vous aimez tester vos capacités de patience alors cet endroit est fait pour vous. Surcoté selon moi côté bouffe.

L'un des meilleurs brunchs de Montréal. Service toujours impeccable. Carte variée & produits de qualité. Le grilled-cheese est excellent (petite astuce : ce n'est pas sur la carte, mais vous pouvez y ajouter de la joue de boeuf!). Quant au carrot cake à la mascarpone, il est tout simplement divin.
Il faut par contre être patients si vous y allez le week-end car il y a souvent de la file. Mais on vous offrira toujours un parapluie s'il pleut, un thé chaud s'il fait froid, ou un thé glacé s'il fait chaud.
We were greeted with a complimentary juice as soon as we sat down - a thoughtful touch. Service was excellent throughout, & the brunch selections were fantastic. The banana French toast was perfectly cooked & not overly sweet. The scotch egg was made with chorizo & goes perfect with any savory dish. Bonus points for the wide range of vegetarian options.
