I see why this is such a popular destination. The food, service & presentation were on point. Despite being busy, the staff helped make the experience an excellent one. The food also surpassed our expectations! I would highly recommend checking out Cafe Janine. 5 stars!

I loved the attention to detail. Food was delicious, & a nice surprise were the cookies our kids were given to decorate while waiting for their food! Atmosphere was really nice, we never felt rushed. Overall a wonderful dining experience.

Un café tranquille pour toute la famille Nous avons visité ce café & en sommes très satisfaits. L'endroit est calme & chaleureux, idéal pour se détendre après une promenade. Les plats sont délicieux, & le service est rapide & courtois. Ce qui est particulièrement agréable, c'est que ce café est adapté aux familles avec enfants, parfait pour un moment de détente en famille.

Well worth the wait! Wow very fun breakfast menu options. Perfectly cooked eggs & something for everyone. You get so much in your plate. I want to go back & try everything!! **Definitely go during the week day to skip the line that wraps around the front door.

Went there with friends. We had a good time. The restaurant seems to be super popular, so be patient before getting assigned to a table. We had to do wait outside, but Janine super kind & was offering hot tea to keep us warm. I ordered « OEuf & Boeuf », the presentation was excellent & it looked so tasty. I was anticipating a tastier bun, but overall il was a good plate.

Fantastic experience. Went for brunch on a Saturday morning & was a little hesitant because of the line, but they brought hot tea to those waiting. Their ability to keep people pleased & have quick service even at their peak busy times was very impressive. Their food & drinks were both instagrammable & delicious, & their prices were fair for the elevated experience.

Première expérience & WOW !!!!! La nourriture était excellente ...le service excellent aussi ! Notre serveur était très gentil & attentionné. Vous venez de gagné une nouvelle cliente .. pour les clients qui seraient tenté de trouver les prix cher sachez que les assiettes sont très généreuses & d'excellentes qualités je recommande Janine à tout ceux & celles qui souhaitent vivre une belle expérience culinaire

THEY REMOVED THE WAFFLE CHICKEN!! The only good thing they had in the meny tbh for me & alot of others I know who would go there only for that dish, it's a shame, they replaced it for a Fried Chicken Sandwich & it's not NEARLY as good..please put it back :(!!

Nous avons décidé de commencer l'hiver avec un brunch chez Janine Café, un endroit très populaire à Montréal. Bien que l'attente soit longue, le service a été attentionné dès le départ, venant nous voir dehors pour nous donner une estimation du temps & prendre notre nom. Un excellent point pour la gestion des attentes ! Pour nous réchauffer, ils nous ont offert un shooter de jus à notre arrivée à table, une petite attention qui a fait du bien après avoir bravé le froid. Ma copine a commandé un latte, non seulement délicieux, mais aussi joliment décoré avec un motif de sapin sur la mousse, parfait pour la saison des fêtes. Côté plats, nous avons opté pour le « Sucré Salé » pour moi & le « Sandwich Poulet Frit » pour ma copine. Les deux plats étaient absolument incroyables. Les saveurs étaient parfaitement équilibrées, & tout était bien cuisiné. Nous avons hâte de revenir pour explorer le reste du menu ! Le service a été rapide & attentionné, avec une mise à table soignée & personnalisée. Le seul petit bémol est l'absence de rideaux aux fenêtres, ce qui fait que l'on mange face aux personnes qui attendent dehors - un peu gênant, mais rien de dramatique. Dans l'ensemble, Janine Café est une superbe adresse pour bruncher à Montréal. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !
