C est le seul endroit où je mange mon poulet jusqu'à lécher les os.De plus je suis aller pendant leur vacances & il m'a quand même servi Juste pour ça mérite 6 étoiles & je leur souhaite d avoir du succès.& encore dsl de pas avoir lu le papier indiquant la période de congé avant de sonne

Best Caribbean food in the West Island, if not the whole island of Montreal.
We had the jerk chicken & beef roti - everything was perfectly cooked & bursting with flavor.
The plantains were sweet & moist (just wish there was more of them as a side!).
The rice was so good, it didn't even need gravy or extra seasoning - we literally finished our containers spotless.
Hidden gem take out window. The goat curry, plantains, & Jamaican patty were exactly what we wanted. We waiting about 20 mins for our food & they recommended calling in your order ahead in case they were busier. Definitely check it out.
The food was utterly splendid, we ordered the oxtail, which was a generous portion with fall of the bone meat, fluffy rice, & delicious sides, the jerk chicken, was juicy, tender, flavourful & delightfully seasoned. The workers were kind & had patience when we were choosing things to order for the first time, & the food arrived piping hot with proper plating. The chill, calm vibe of the location made the minutes waiting for our food pass by quickly. (To avoid wait calling to order in advance is recommended)
Would definitely visit again if given the chance, however we were just passing by Montreal on a trip.

Janette's Spicy Caribbean Food is a delightful haven for those craving traditional Caribbean flavors. Opting for takeout, I was eager to see if the dishes would maintain their promised reputation & they did, spectacularly.
I ordered the Chicken Jerk Mix, & it was a revelation in a takeout box. The chicken was coated in aromatic spices, with a delightful kick from the Scotch bonnet peppers. The flavors were robust & tantalizing, providing an authentic taste of the Caribbean even from the comfort of home.
Alongside the chicken, I couldn't resist trying the Oxtail, which truly stole the show. The meat was tender, succulent, & infused with a deeply savory gravy. The rich, bold taste of the oxtail, paired with aromatic seasonings, showcased Janette's mastery in capturing the essence of Caribbean cooking.
Janette's takeout experience is not just convenient but a journey through vibrant, spicy, soulful dishes that transport you straight to the Caribbean islands. It's a must-try for anyone looking to enjoy authentic flavors without dining in.
Absolutely loved this Jamaican spot! The staff were super nice-welcoming, helpful, & made the whole experience feel like home. & the food? So tasty! Everything was full of flavor & cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
Their jerk chicken plate is absolutely delicious tender, juicy, & full of flavor in every bite. You can really taste the care that goes into the food. The family that owns this place is very kind & caring, & their customer service is excellent. A true 5 star experience.

My first time ever having Jeanette's was yesterday. We saw a video on tiktok & my daughter & I took the half hour drive. It was so good we came back today & brought my mom this time. The food was just as good. Jerk chicken is the best I've had in a very long time. The service was great. The owner was so kind & friendly. We'll definitely be back !

Amazing quality food at a ridiculously good price. Everything I ate was absolutely incredible. The service was nice & friendly. The only recommendation I'd have for people is to call or email to order in advance before going.
