We went here last Friday & had a yummy dinner. I love Italian food. This place had several options. We had a reservation a week ago because we knew it would be crowded. The location is great, right by the water. The service was good, could have been better, The food was great! I had the mushroom pasta & loved it. Good atmosphere with nice music.

Exactly what you're looking for in an Italian restaurant, great atmosphere, friendly & professional service & delicious traditional food. Raine was amazing
We were there for the countdown, so it was tasting menu, not the regular. It was delicious although Italian tasting menu was really a bit odd… but it was to celebrate new year, so everything was good.
Maeva was the best waitress to experience at this wonderful Italian food establishment. Very knowledgeable of the menu & willing Nguyen's to share her recommendations which were spot on. Highly recommend this place. Enjoy
Delicious Italian food, it is quite rich & creamy. My husband & I ordered our own pastas but were unable to finish. Arancinis were stellar. Overall, enjoyed each dish. Bonus stars because the vibes were the right amount of cozy on a snowy evening, & boujee.
One of the most top rated Italian restaurants in the area. Prices on the costlier side.
The cheese wheel was a very good experience. Must try.

Nestled in the heart of Old Montreal, Jacopo delivers a dining experience that blends rustic Italian charm with refined, contemporary seafood dishes. On my recent visit, I was treated to two standout plates that perfectly showcased the restaurant's dedication to quality ingredients & elegant flavors. Thank you Dugan & Pearre for the free cake that you guys gave us for my Husband & I honeymoon celebration
A popular & busy Italian spot with a great selections of pasta. They're sangrias paired well with the Panzanella. I got the Spaghetti Amatriciana, which had a good level of spiciness that was not too hot or weak. Also dined outside & got to see a street performer juggle flaming sticks.
Such a great Italian spot! The staff was incredibly welcoming from the moment we walked in. Special thanks to Aurelia who was hands down the most genuine & kind server I've had in a long time. The food was absolutely divine from start to finish. Will definitely be coming back!

Outstanding taste & authentic Italian cuisine with excellent service from our waiter, whose name means Sadness. But we will always remember his smile. I forgot his name, unfortunately, but it starts with T
The food was excellent, the service was warm & attentive, & the atmosphere felt genuinely inviting without being over the top. You can tell they care about quality, both in what they serve & how they treat their guests.
I've eaten a lot of Italian food in my life, but I have to say: the Margherita al Tartufo here was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The balance of flavors, the freshness of the ingredients, & that incredible truffle aroma-just unforgettable.
Do yourself a favor & order it. Seriously, it's a standout dish that alone is worth the visit.
We travelled to Montreal for a Bachelorette & Jacopo was recommended to us. It was honestly the best time! The food was delicious, our server was fantastic & there were quite a few other bachelorette groups there too, we ended up buying each other drinks & mingling with other groups, it was too much fun. As someone who is obsessed with Italian food, I was impressed, especially since the establishment is so big & there was clearly a lot going on the night we were there. The wine was excellent & my server helped me choose the perfect pairing. The other girls got pitchers of sangria (dangerous!). Can't rave about Jacopo enough! I'll be back. Thank you!
Overall very cool place! Nice Italian food & a great location near the river & close to the ferris wheel. Highly recommend the cheese board. Giving 4 stars cause the service was a bit slow. For example they brought our wine to us after they brought the food, we had to ask for water multiple times, etc.

We had a fantastic meal at Jacopo, a charming Italian restaurant in the heart of Old Montreal. From start to finish, everything was delicious & beautifully prepared.
We started with the fried calamari, & it was honestly some of the best we've ever had - perfectly crispy, tender, & full of flavor. For drinks, we enjoyed a refreshing glass of sangria & a Rose', both of which paired really well with the meal & added to the relaxed, lively ambiance.
For our mains, we had the pappardelle with lamb, spaghetti with pork - each one was cooked al dente & full of rich, bold flavors. The lamb pappardelle was especially memorable - tender meat, silky sauce, & pasta that tasted homemade. Everything tasted fresh & authentic, like a little trip to Italy. I wanna come back & try the pesto Pasta & other dishes!
We came for mother's day & they had a limited menu, fine, but then they ran out of the salmon option, pasta was very mediocre & the beef chops were stringy. The appetizers were good but the main dishes we could've honestly made better at home. Regretted not stopping by a different Italian restaurant. Won't come back.
We were a group of 8 on a Sat night in March during the Happening Gourmand event (which is why we chose it). Apparently, the restaurant allocates only 2 hours for the reservation. The waiter didn't come take our order quickly, we had no drinks or wine, just the appetizer that was on the HG menu. The gnocchi I ordered was chewy & not pleasant at all (I ought to have sent it back & asked for a different dish). The orecchiette ordered by two of our groupwas so spicy with hot peppers they couldn't finish - & one of them is Italian, from Italy. I don't recall any of the grouo praising the quality of their food. After we had finished & the plates cleared, the waiter appeared to declare that we had 10 mins to vacate the table for the next reservation. Those of us (4) whose special menu included dessert had not received any, nor had we been asked if we wanted coffee or dessert, & we hadn't received our bills. When I asked the waiter what about the dessert included in my meal, he said I would have to take it to go! (Pannacotta, really? How?) Then he seemed to realize his mistake & showed up with the desserts. It was clear that we were to eat fast & get out (still no bill). I complained about the bum's rush we were getting, & was told that we'd been advised of the time restriction upon arrival. That may be, but it's up to the server to take the orders in a timely fashion, not 30 mins late, & then start pushing the customers out the door. We hadn't caused any delay or were holding up the table after service. With the barely acceptable food & that kind of service, I couldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We loved Jacopo on our recent Montreal trip! The food was delicious & they had my favourite mocktail of my whole trip. I would highly recommend for any Italian food lovers.
We loved the experience. The staff are super friendly & helpful. The place is clean & the food, if I could I'd give 10 stars. I come from a Italian family & the gnocchi was just perfect. We ordered the salad, soup of the day, gnocchi, salmon & orecchiette.
