Our first time at Jacopo was 10/10 - our 33rd wedding anniversary! Our food & drinks (especially my Negroni) were delicious. Dugan, Isa & Juliana could not have done a better job! We are very appreciative & grateful for a lovely evening - We will definitely return!

This was a real mixed bag. Ambiance was excellent as was most of the food & service. I ordered a Hendricks martini & they put olive juice in it. When I tried to return it, the waiter pushed back. I finally said I can't drink this, at which point the bartender comes over & says'my bad', & gave me a fresh drink. They also were pushing drinks very hard at the table. Most of our party didn't drink. We were then notified that we only had the table 1.5 hrs. Wait. What? It seemed like since there was no drinking, we weren't welcome. The table next to us were there before we arrived & drinking. They hadn't even gotten their food by the time we left. By 1.5 hrs, they asked if they could bring us the check. No coffee. No dessert. You get the drift ?

There were tables open all around us as well as the'entire second floor'. I go out all the time & never experienced anything like this. (& it was a Wednesday night).

This was our first visit to Jacopo & we absolutely loved it. Our server Aurelia was amazing: friendly, informative, & patient (we couldn't decide on drinks to start off & Aurelia helped us with her recommendations). & the food was amazing!! Will absolutely come back next time we are in Montreal!!

I had the best experience at Jacopo, it was my friends 25th birthday & the manager Dalil & waiter Sean really made it an incredible night & experience for us! The food was incredible & so were the drinks!

We travelled to Montreal for a Bachelorette & Jacopo was recommended to us. It was honestly the best time! The food was delicious, our server was fantastic & there were quite a few other bachelorette groups there too, we ended up buying each other drinks & mingling with other groups, it was too much fun. As someone who is obsessed with Italian food, I was impressed, especially since the establishment is so big & there was clearly a lot going on the night we were there. The wine was excellent & my server helped me choose the perfect pairing. The other girls got pitchers of sangria (dangerous!). Can't rave about Jacopo enough! I'll be back. Thank you!

We had a fantastic meal at Jacopo, a charming Italian restaurant in the heart of Old Montreal. From start to finish, everything was delicious & beautifully prepared.

We started with the fried calamari, & it was honestly some of the best we've ever had - perfectly crispy, tender, & full of flavor. For drinks, we enjoyed a refreshing glass of sangria & a Rose', both of which paired really well with the meal & added to the relaxed, lively ambiance.

For our mains, we had the pappardelle with lamb, spaghetti with pork - each one was cooked al dente & full of rich, bold flavors. The lamb pappardelle was especially memorable - tender meat, silky sauce, & pasta that tasted homemade. Everything tasted fresh & authentic, like a little trip to Italy. I wanna come back & try the pesto Pasta & other dishes!

Nice decor, good cocktails & tasty appetizers. Mains were not great for the price. Severely understaffed & took almost an hour to get our drink orders in & never asked if we wanted another drink & also took the menus. For the total price per person, absolutely will not go back.

I came here last night for dinner & was extremely disappointed with the service.
I ordered a passion fruit martini, 40 minutes later, the waitress brings me a clear coloured martini. I asked her if it was a passion fruit martini (which are normally more orangey looking), she says'no, we ran out of passion fruit so I brought you a lychee one'. I told her I didn't like lychee & won't drink it , to which she responds'just try it' & then walks away. I did not drink my drink & was charged $17 for something I did not order & said I didn't want. To add, the food was mediocre & overpriced. Would not recommend at all.

It was an amazing experience my hunband & i went yesterday Friday May 1 in the evening with reservation. We got a text letting us know that our table was ready. Our server was welcoming & beautiful ambiance inside. My husband ordered an initial drink he didn't like & got a replacement. The food was amazing, fresh & flavourful. Would fully recommend!!

We were a group of 8 on a Sat night in March during the Happening Gourmand event (which is why we chose it). Apparently, the restaurant allocates only 2 hours for the reservation. The waiter didn't come take our order quickly, we had no drinks or wine, just the appetizer that was on the HG menu. The gnocchi I ordered was chewy & not pleasant at all (I ought to have sent it back & asked for a different dish). The orecchiette ordered by two of our groupwas so spicy with hot peppers they couldn't finish - & one of them is Italian, from Italy. I don't recall any of the grouo praising the quality of their food. After we had finished & the plates cleared, the waiter appeared to declare that we had 10 mins to vacate the table for the next reservation. Those of us (4) whose special menu included dessert had not received any, nor had we been asked if we wanted coffee or dessert, & we hadn't received our bills. When I asked the waiter what about the dessert included in my meal, he said I would have to take it to go! (Pannacotta, really? How?) Then he seemed to realize his mistake & showed up with the desserts. It was clear that we were to eat fast & get out (still no bill). I complained about the bum's rush we were getting, & was told that we'd been advised of the time restriction upon arrival. That may be, but it's up to the server to take the orders in a timely fashion, not 30 mins late, & then start pushing the customers out the door. We hadn't caused any delay or were holding up the table after service. With the barely acceptable food & that kind of service, I couldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Soirée incroyable chez Jacopo ! Un gros coup de coeur pour Roodney, le bartender, qui a vraiment élevé l'expérience à un autre niveau. Ses cocktails étaient tout simplement parfaits - savoureux, bien balancés, & présentés avec soin. Mais au-delà des drinks, c'est son attitude qui m'a marqué : super accueillant, professionnel, attentif & clairement passionné par ce qu'il fait. On sent qu'il aime créer une belle ambiance autour du bar. Merci Roodney pour ce moment mémorable - je reviendrai sans hésiter !

Food was decent but potatoes were dry ! we went for a brunch , service could have been better . The water smelled a lot …. not sure if it was the glass or the water . I had to stop drinking water as it was making me nauseous, PLEASE SMELL THE GLASSES BEFORE !!! also I saw staff dipping fingers in drinks to check if it was done properly…. really felt unhygienic. Came for the reviews but won't come again !
