As a traveler visiting Montreal, I wanted to end my trip with a memorable dinner-& this restaurant initially seemed like the perfect spot. The ambiance was lovely, & the staff were incredibly courteous & attentive throughout our visit. The food, once it arrived, was well-prepared & tasted great.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was dampened by the wait time. Despite placing our order promptly, we had to wait over an hour for the food to arrive. By then, the excitement & appetite had already faded, which took away from what could have been a fantastic dining experience.
It's a place with great potential, but I hope they address the service delays, as it's the one thing that kept this dinner from being the highlight of my trip.

My husband & I absolutely loved this restaurant. Tristan & Alde were so attentive & kind. Tristan even helped me pick out what I was going to order for dinner - braised short rib. Amazing. 10/10 would come here again. Food was delicious. Staff were so lovely & it's the cutest restaurant.
I had an amazing experience at Jacopo ! The ambiance was perfect, the food was delicious, & the service was exceptional. A special shoutout to Anaïs, who made the evening even more enjoyable with her warm welcome & attentive hospitality. She went above & beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place & looking forward to coming back!
Tristan & Alok were fantastic! They were attentive & provided a quick service. The food was great as well. The cheese wheel pasta tasted divine, & the tiramisu tasted amazing.

I recently dined at [Restaurant Name], & it was fantastic! The authentic Italian dishes were bursting with flavor, especially the homemade pasta. The ambiance was cozy, & the staff were attentive & friendly. Although we had to wait a bit longer to be served, we were gifted with a delicious cake, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine. Can't wait to return!

Angie was our server & she was fabulous....attentive & knowledgeable. Had a small issue with a possible allergic reaction & both Angie & the manager were both concerned & spectacular in accomodating an unexpected occurrence. Wow...so impressive. Highest recommendation.
With so many options to pick for dinner in Old Montreal, I am so happy we went with Jacopo! My partner & I had an amazing experience. Our server, Laura, was absolutely lovely & made us feel so welcome. She was attentive & made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. We started with the Caesar salad, which was easily the best I've ever had, & followed it up with the pasta from the cheese wheel, which was simply divine. The flavors were incredible, & I only wish I could eat this meal every day! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with fantastic food & service.
Very nice looking restaurant but the food was not what I was expecting. More like average. The lamb in the « ragu « was not tender it was more like tough beef Service was slow & waits long but the waiter was friendly & attentive. The ladies washroom had no soap or paper to dry our hands the entire evening just a tiny purel bottle everyone had to share. I don't find that acceptable for any reason
I had the truffle pasta & bruschetta, & both were absolutely delicious-highly recommended! Despite being part of a group of around 14 people, the service was impressively fast. Our server, Tristan, was fantastic he recommended great dishes & was very attentive throughout our meal. The décor is beautiful, with a perfect blend of rustic & modern aesthetics that creates a warm & inviting atmosphere. Creating a intimate atmosphere which is lovely for gatherings with friends or even next time a romantic dinner. The tiramisu was also pretty good, with its creamy texture & rich chocolatey flavour. While the prices are on the higher side, it's understandable given the Old Port location. For the quality of food & service, I would definitely return.
During our weekend in Montreal, we caught in tropical storm Debby. The rain got so bad, we decided to pop into a local restaurant for lunch & wait the storm out. For a random find, Jacopo did not disappoint. We had the soup of the day which was a delicious pea soup. We shared a tomato mozzarella panini & an eggplant capicola panini. Both very good. The bread was soft & yummy & we loved the fresh ingredients in the salad that accompanied both sandwiches. Our server was friendly & attentive. Such a great lunch.
Le service au restaurant Jacopo, assuré par la serveuse Valentina, était impeccable. Valentina s'est montrée très professionnelle, attentive & chaleureuse tout au long de notre repas. Sa connaissance du menu & ses recommandations judicieuses ont grandement amélioré notre expérience culinaire. Grâce à son service exceptionnel, notre soirée a été des plus agréables. Je recommande vivement de visiter ce restaurant pour profiter de la délicieuse cuisine & du service hors pair de Valentina.
We recently celebrated a birthday at Jacopo & it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we started planning, the staff was incredibly helpful with the logistics & communication with our event planner & decorator. They ensured everything was perfectly set up for our special occasion & that the room was ready to be decorated by the event company. The food came quickly & was delicious. Our server, Antoine, was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, & went above & beyond to create a memorable experience for everyone. The entire evening was seamless, & we couldn't have asked for a better server. Highly recommend!
