The food is good, but the experience was disappointing. The restaurant was extremely cramped & overcrowded, to the point of being uncomfortable. The cowboy-style American decor didn't help the atmosphere & felt off-putting.

The service was worse. The hostess clearly didn't want to be there. When we were seated, the only thing she said was that we had two hours & then walked away. I've never been told that before, & it felt rude & unnecessary.

To make things worse, our order came out wrong. They offered to fix it, but I didn't want to delay the meal & eat separately from my family.

Overall, good food doesn't make up for the cramped space & poor service. I'm not sure I'll be back.

The best BBQ is here. Brisket, Ribs, Bucket of wings on Sunday -all great. Wish they had better sides like fresh cut fries instead of processed, mashed potatoes, baked beans, etc.. Way better than Diablos (tough beef ribs & brisket)

VERY DISAPPOINTING

This was my wife's & I first time visiting Jack Flats BBQ. We arrived at 4pm on a Tuesday & they just opened. We looked at the menu & the server came over & asked if we had questions & we said it was our first here. Here explained the small menu & pointed out the'Jack Flat BBQ Experience' & said that's what they're known for. Not being a stranger to BBQ & have a really good idea as to what great BBQ is & what should come a platter of'Huge meat trays & accompaniments' (that is what is described as) we ordered it for us. It was $49 per person so it would be $98 as it's a 2 person minimum which we were holding at the explanation of the menu or is it listed on the menu. We ordered 2 cokes & they came in the smallest glasses, pretty much a hi ball glass. Our'huge meat trays & accompaniments' arrived & I was very under whelmed at first glance. 1 tray had 4 ribs, 3 pieces of brisket, 3 slices of turkey & 4 pieces of pork belly & 2 pieces of plain white bread. The other tray had fries, caesar salad & green beans. Keep in mind there was no option to pick what meat or accompaniments it came with or did it would t say what it came with. I've been to numerous BBQ places in the US & Canada & this was probably the worst for what was offered in a platter that gives you a good sample of what they have to offer. The turkey was kinda dry & cold, the brisket, ribs & pork were ok, nothing great by any means for their rating of 4.3 with 2.2k reviews. Not sure why anyone would want a caesar salad at a BBQ place but where's the baked beans? The Mac & cheese? The corn bread? The coleslaw? Potato salad? Instead here's some green beans & salad & plain krinkle cut fries & plain white bread. The sausage? The pulled chicken? I gladly would have not had the dry turkey & had a sausage but there was no option to pick your meats or sides. Throughout our meal we asked for refills on out pop & they refilled out small glasses & brought them back. End of the meal I asked for the bill & was charged $3.50 PER POP/REFILL for a total of $17.50 with ZERO mention that the pop wasn't free refills nor did they have ANY mention of fountain drinks on the menu so we didn't know the price. Needless to say the bill came to over $130 after tax & was definitely not worth it. I will not be coming back at all. I know BBQ isn't cheap but the value for your money & the fact no refills on pop & not told about it is ridiculous.

We went to Jackflat BBQ with my wife & our three adult sons & had a great overall experience. We did the Jackflat BBQ experience, had three pitchers of hard drinks the total came to about $516 with tx + tip definitely on the pricey side, but the food was very good & well prepared. The atmosphere was excellent, lively without being overwhelming, & made for a fun family night out. What really stood out was our waitress, she was absolutely amazing, attentive, friendly, & made sure everything ran smoothly. While it's not an everyday kind of place price-wise, it was a memorable experience & we enjoyed ourselves.

Un gros merci à l'équipe du Jackflat! Prise en charge efficace & rapide suite à un vol.

Environ 10 minutes après mon arrivée, j'ai remarqué que je m'étais fait voler mon manteau le temps d'une danse en ligne. Ils ont tout de suite vérifié les caméras, identifié les personnes concernées & contacté le groupe à plusieurs reprises jusqu'à temps d'obtenir une réponse. Le gérant a réussi à les convaincre de le ramener la soirée même. Plusieurs employés sont venus me faire une mise à jour des procédures & résultats des appels au fur & à mesure de la soirée.

Vraiment satisfaite de l'efficacité de l'équipe & la prise au sérieux de la situation.

We've been to several bbq restaurants in montreal, & they always have some Texas decorations , but this place was blaring country, everyone wearing a Stetson & even a waitress wearing daisy dukes. I've been to places on the south like this. & this was a fun imitation of those.
The menu had did not have much information on what the food actually was going to be. For example no information on what's in the Jack flat burger, just a name & a price.
The food came out really fast.
But none of the food was hot. The bread was toasted but full on cold.
The brisket had a nice smoke ring & taste but tepid. The ribs were dry & lacked taste.
There seems to be some games upstairs. Kids seemed to be having fun

La viande du plateau était vraiment excellente, très bien cuite & savoureuse, rien à redire là-dessus. Par contre, nous avons été déçus par les frites qui semblaient clairement congelées, ce qui contrastait avec la qualité de la viande. Le service aurait aussi pu être meilleur : notre serveur n'était pas très présent & donnait peu d'explications sur le repas & le menu. Nous avons tenté l'expérience pour ma fête en famille & avons passé une belle soirée! Nous étions 12 personnes, le menu de groupe nous était imposé, c'était peut-être le seul point négatif de notre soirée puisque c'est assez dispendieux, cependant nous avons apprécié la nourriture en quantité plus que suffisante, le service (jolie cowgirl blonde très attentionnée) & l'ambiance western. La serveuse a acceptée un gâteau provenant de l'extérieur & a même mis des bougies & chanter le bon anniversaire… bravo & merci à l'équipe.

Super endroit, super service, bouffe rapide - on voit que la cuisine est bien organisée, & on s'y sent vraiment bien !!! Vous êtes merveilleux. & la serveuse d'hier soir, blonde, avec un chapeau de cowboy & un haut rouge foncé, est une serveuse / barmaid incroyablement gentille & professionnelle !!! We got the sangria & the platter to share the one at (49$ per person) which gives you 3/4 lbs of meat each with 5 sides (Nashville chicken, mac & cheese, fries, coleslaw & cesar salad). The food was good especially the pork ribs & pulled pork but what should have been the star, the brisket, was dry, a bit tough & well a bit flavorless. Although the service & atmosphere was super fun & top notch we enjoyed about half of the items on the platter. Also, if one person in your group doesnt eat a lot I would recommend ordering one share less. We left with leftovers after stuffing ourselves. Overall, a fun experience but the meats could have been better.

Si vous aimez la viande c'est un incontournable mais si vous aimez la viande dans le fumoir vous ne pouvez pas, ne pas y aller c'est tout à fait exquis vous ne serez pas déçu en plus servi par un serveur hors pair quoi demander de mieux & une ambiance festive à souhait j'ai tout aimé.
