Créer une nouvelle expérience culinaire indienne qui nous ressemble et qui rassemble avec un bar à cocktails de qualité supérieure et faire découvrir non seulement la nourriture mais aussi les breuvages traditionnels indiens. C’était ça, la motivation première derrière le concept du India Rosa.
Nous voulions exécuter cette symbiose parfaite entre notre culture indienne et la « Montréalité » que nous vivons depuis plus de 30 ans !

I absolutely loved my experience at India Rosa the food is so tasty & extremely flavourful. The Korma was my favourite. The service was amazing our server always made sure we were taken care of drinks full of water, refilled our wine regularly & was very bubbly & had good energy. Après 5-6 visites, toujours à la recherche d'un bon service. Le personnel qui nous a servie les dernières fois étaient assez froid. Changement de shift sans nous avertir, notre serveuse disparaît pour la soirées sans nous avertir, verre d'eau vide pendant 30 minutes, Attente de 10 minutes pour payer quand elle est au courant qu'on voulait payer & préfère jaser au bar avec ses collègues. I visited India Rosa with a friend for brunch, & as a self-proclaimed eggs Benedict snob, I think I've found my new favorite way to eat it. The cozy atmosphere & unique take on brunch classics had me excited from the start, & the dishes we tried were nothing short of delicious.

The Menu:
India Rosa brings an exciting fusion of Indian flavors into traditional brunch dishes. Each plate is beautifully crafted, with bold spices & creative combinations that make you think differently about brunch.
Our Picks:
• Bene Butter Chicken: As an eggs Benedict enthusiast, I was blown away by this dish. The rich butter chicken was served on soft brioche bread, & the addition of cashew nuts, fried onions, Brussels sprouts, green peas, & sorrel sprouts created an incredible mix of textures & flavors. I honestly think I've found a new way to enjoy eggs Benedict-this twist had me hooked!
• Chicken & Waffles: The masala waffles were light & full of flavor, paired with fried tandoori chicken that was crispy on the outside & juicy on the inside. The cari & lime sour sauce added a tangy kick, while the spiced honey & cashews brought the perfect balance of sweet & savory. It was a dish that kept surprising me with each bite.
• Rosa's French Toast: Coated in panko crumbs & five Indian spices, this French toast had a crispy, spiced exterior that made it stand out from the usual. Topped with fresh fruit, maple caramel, lime yogurt, & maple syrup, it was a decadent, yet light treat. The flavors melded together perfectly, making it a must-try.
Service:
The service was friendly, efficient, & knowledgeable. Our server was more than happy to help us navigate the menu, & the food came out at a perfect pace. The staff made us feel right at home, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Pricing:
While India Rosa is a bit on the pricier side for brunch, the creativity behind the dishes & the quality of the ingredients make it worth every penny. We spent about $50 per person for three dishes & drinks, & considering the generous portions & unique flavors, it's definitely a splurge worth taking.

Mon Dieu! On a tout aimé! L'entrée au fromage est mon coup de coeur, vraiment délicieuse, je vais la commander à chaque fois où je vais y retourner, car c'est sûr que c'était pas ma dernière fois. This place is beautiful, beautifully decorated, & the service is a plus. All of the food that we got was so fresh & so delicious. The chicken is magical, & the French toast was so crispy. Went couple of weeks ago, I've been there ~7 times as I enjoy the food (taste is good, portions getting smaller with time). We were a group of people, the waiter did his job not outstanding not bad (took the order, recommended more bread, brought the food & the drinks with the help of other waiters). We left a tip of 46$, right after that he checked the tip & came back to the table asking if we were not happy with the service, I said yes that is why I tipped (reminder YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TIP IF YOU DON'T WANT TO). In front of the whole table then he began lecturing me about how things work in Montreal (I live here since years) & that "they" take from him 8.5% of the tip). It has never happened to me that after typing (like this) I get a waiter complaining. Lesson learned. Won't be back.Voir plus

Les drink était de vrai drink corsé. Pas le pichet de la belle & la boeuf ou après 3 pichet t'es plus gonfler que saoul. J'ai bue 1 drink & c'était yumy yumy. La nourriture était excellente. Ne sous estimé par l'entrée de soupe de lentilles qui est bourratif. A 3 personnes ont sais partager 1 repas principal 3 entrée & 3 soupe & ont était full full full. Belle découverte. Je dirais que j'avais envie de ce resto depuis un petit bout. Il y a deux succursales & je crois que finalement j'aurais préféré l'autre (Griffintown). Celui-ci est petit & sympathique mais manque d'un petit je-ne-sais quoi. La bouffe est extraordinairement bonne (poulet & gaufres) avec un bon drink. Would have's loved to have a second drink but was never offered another as we didn't see our server for most of the night after the food arrived. Also waited for 30-40 minutes to receive our bill. Les Drinks sont bons & il y a une bonne ambiance. Parcontre, les chaises ne sont pas confortables. La cuisine est bonne, surtout les dahi puri, les crevettes & les kefta. Le paneer a une bonne texture mais manque de goût. Les pains naan sont excellents. Les tapas sont simples, je trouve qu'il manque une petite touche de plus, surtout pour le prix. via LibroWe were very disappointed that we could not order from the regular menu during Brunch Hours. This was not noted anywhere & only found out when we sat down. We were also rushed through our meal because the kitchen closed (3-4pm) halfway through our 2 hour slot. Our waiter always seemed to pause & consider whether to 'allow' our order (ex. Coffee). He also took our water glasses which still had water & tried to take one of our plates even though the person was still clearly eating & a drink that was only half drunk - & we still had 30 minutes left & one person's meal & dessert left - very strange! It's no longer at the top of my list to take people when they visit like it had been for the last 3 years.

Nous êtions assise au bar & le barman était beaucoup trop occupé à faire les drinks de tout le restaurant pour nous servir un premier verre d'eau en attente de prendre notre commande. Nous avons attendue 15min. pour avoir notre drink. J'aime la mixologie & les cocktails étaient super bon! Cependant, est ce que passer 1min à faire des motifs avec du colorant sur de la "foam" vaut le manque de service. Assurément, la nourriture était super bonne, A++++ & super rapide! Cependant, nous avons dû commander avec un autre serveur puisque on nous a jamais demandé si on voulait même commander. Ensuite, aucun suivi pour voir si le tout était bon, pour nous proposer autre chose à boire. Nous sommes également resté longtemps avec nos assiettes vides devant nous & le gérant a dû demander finalement à quelqu'un de nous débarasser. Pour avoir été au india rosa de Griffintown, je préfère nettement le service là-bas!Voir plus

The food & drinks were very good but too pricey.
There was an issue with our reservation but we managed to get a table on the terrace. The service started off well, drinks & entree came quickly, the bartender came to see us as I had a question about one of the liquors used. This said our mains took forever. People that ordered after us were getting their food before us &, it took about an hour to get our food. No explanation was given (perhaps the waiter forgot to punch the order in) or compensation was suggested (I.e additional drink, nann bread during the wait etc.). Overall good, but expensive though I think that's pretty much a given everywhere now.

It's been like that since my first visit. I don't let that affect my experience there as the food is REALLY good, as I mentioned before.
