To create a new Indian culinary experience that would represent what we’re all about and gather all communities with a distinct bar of high-quality cocktails, letting our customers discover not only our fabulous gastronomy but also our traditional Indian beverages and drinks. That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.
We wanted to concoct the perfect symbiosis between our culture and the Montreal spirit we have known and lived for more than 30 years!

Upon entry, it was not at all what we were expecting. There was a live DJ & the dining room was packed with a nightclub vibe. Since it was a Saturday at 9pm, we went along with it & sat down with menus. Our server was very friendly & knew the menu well. We ordered a bottle of wine, followed by two tapas & a main to share. Now, the food was absolutely incredible! We had the tandoori mushrooms to start, which were stuffed with paneer (I believe), marinated in spices & grilled. Phenomenal! The channa masala we had to share was perhaps the most flavourful I have ever had, with each spice & note hitting the pallet at just the right time. Our next visit would probably take place during the week, though if you enjoy a lively dining experience Saturday is your night! All in all a great date night, & fabulous food. Thank you for everything.
We celebrated a friend's birthday at India Rosa, a choice inspired by its spacious setting & appealing decor, which immediately set a promising stage for our group of four. The staff greeted us with courtesy, readily offering insights into the extensive menu that caters to a wide range of preferences, from tantalizing tapas to substantial main dishes. The culinary journey at India Rosa was a rollercoaster of highs & lows. On one hand, the flavors were nothing short of incredible, demonstrating a keen eye for culinary detail & a mastery of spice that deserves every bit of praise. Each dish presented to us was a testament to the chef's skill in crafting memorable dining experiences through taste. However, our dining experience took a turn when it came to the portion sizes relative to the price. The main dishes, although visually appealing & rich in flavor, were disappointingly small, making them barely shareable among us. This was a significant drawback, as I found myself leaving the restaurant still feeling hungry, a sentiment echoed by the rest of our party. While the ambiance & service at India Rosa were commendable, the portion to price ratio is a critical area that needs reevaluation. In a city bustling with diverse dining options, the value offered by a restaurant can be a deciding factor for repeat visits. Unfortunately, despite the high notes in flavors & service, the lack of value in the portions means I will not be returning. For those seeking a culinary adventure that satisfies not just the palate but also the appetite, it might be wise to explore other venues.
Best india food we have had... very nice services a little long between each tapas but over all fantastic....
Belle soirée entre amis! Nourriture excellente & plein de saveur Les tapas comme entrée vaut la peine & augmente l'expérience culinaire ! Ambiance très nice & notre serveuse 👌 souriante & & c'est recommandation parfaite !
Downtown Montreal has been due for a great Indian restaurant for ages (since Curry House on Bishop closed ages ago) & you deliver. Very minor imperfections: drink order took far too long to place & receive & the samosas were very disappointing (pasty & just not very good). Everything else, from the tapas to the biryani to the cod to the aloo gobi & tarka dhal were outstanding. Carnivores & vegetarians & even those of us with dairy allergies were over the moon in your fabulous restaurant. The server was polite & competent & very pleasant. The ambiance was so chill & trendy & simply perfect. Will recommend & return.
Wow. As an Indian, this was an experience. Tapas style Indian food, served in beautifully plated ways, the ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful, & the drinks were phenomenal. 100% would recommend & would go again when I return to Montreal!
It took over 40 minutes for us to receive our tapas after ordering & they were cold when we finally received them. I've been to your restaurant several times & this was the first time the service was slow & the food was average. Maybe an off night. I will return but sad that it wasn't quite as enjoyable as my other visits.
We had a wonderful afternoon sampling the tapas menu, really tasty elegant looking Indian food. Great cocktails. The staff were very attentive & friendly, Sofia is an asset to this place
Everything was really good! Specifically loved the Mango Sangria & a mushroom-paneet tapas dish!!!
The tapas were very good, the bhel puri was not really but was tasty. The chicken tikka masala was disappointing using chicken thighs with no real exposure to the spices, the naan was to thin & crusty, no springiness to it. Our waitress, Juliette was a delight & very engaging.
Great new spot! The tapas were great & the cocktails were phenomenal. Unfortunately, the parking is an issue: in multiple spots we read about valet parking & got there to find that's not the case. It caused us to be scrambling to meet our reservations & friends. Regardless, the food was fantastic & India Rosa is highly recommended.
Felt very fortunate that this Indian fusion restaurant was close to our hotel because not sure we would have known about it otherwise. In short a phenomenal meal with every dish revealing new tastes & textures. Everything from the tapas to the entrees seemed like there was a genius alchemist in the kitchen. Now on my lifetime dozen best meals list. Thanks for the experience!
Beautifully designed restaurant with a vast array of original cocktails & delicious assortment of tapas would highly recommend
On a très bien mangé mais le service nous a déçu. On a attendu une bonne demi heure avant d'être servi un plat de tapas qui complètait notre repas.
