That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.

Great ambience & cocktails. The bartender impressed us by making an off-menu drink. Food tasted good, but the meat quality was very disappointing-lamb chops were chewy & the butter chicken wasn't tender. Service was good, no complaints. Overall a good experience, but not worth the price for the food quality.
J'ai été deux fois au India Rosa: une fois pour le brunch & une fois pour le souper, & pour les deux fois, tout était délicieux & parfait! Autant pour la nourriture exquise, bien assaisonnée & parfaitement épicée, que pour les cocktails, l'ambiance, le décor & le service… je recommande ce restaurant. Notre serveur Thibault a su me recommander le bon cocktail pour moi, qui n'était pas trop sucré: le Pisco Sour. J'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner!

I went with a friend. It was her first time to India Rosa in Griffintown. I invite her to try the lamb with the cashew sauce that I like very much . She like it too. Then we had for dessert the Gulab jamun. Very nice meal.Nice ambiance. The service with Coralie was pleasant, always smiling. She help me with the cocktail's choices.. We sure will go back. Je recommande vivement le restaurant, la nourriture y est délicieuse. Les cocktails également. L'ambiance tamisée apporte beaucoup de charme au cadre. Seul bémol qui s'est ressenti plus fort que la fois d'avant, mais on s'entendait difficilement parler avec le monde autour. Cela renvoyait une vibe'cantine' qui ne colle pas aux lieux selon moi. Mais je laisse 5 étoiles car c'est une place qui vaut le détour!

Groupe de 5, 1ière expérience chez India Rosa pour plusieurs. Nous étions dans la section bar (18+). Une table ronde nous a été assignée (absolument parfait pour nous 5). Nous avons opté pour le menu dégustation de tapas servi sur planche, ce qui nous a permis de goûter à plein de choses différentes. C'était super! Aussi, très bon choix de vins & de cocktails.
Amazing atmosphere to dine in & the cocktails were fantastic, however the food slightly lacked flavour.
Ordered the quebec lamb korma, chicken biryani & the meat for both was juicy & tender & the spices were there but very slight. Dehi puri was fantastic not too sweet but also very refreshing. I would come back again, just for the vibes.

Visited India Rosa in Griffintown recently. The ambiance is stunning & the vibe is very high-energy.
Food: I highly recommend the Paneer Stuffed Grilled Mushrooms. They were incredibly delicious & the chutney was perfectly'chutpatti' (tangy/spicy). The only downside was the portion-only 3 pieces for the price, which felt a bit small, though the quality was excellent.
A note on the decor: As an Indian, I had mixed feelings about the elephant painting at the entrance. While it's clearly meant to be modern &'boho,' seeing an elephant in traditional royal attire (reminiscent of Ganpati) holding a cocktail felt a bit jarring to me, especially at the entrance where we usually place sacred symbols. It's a beautiful piece of art, but it might feel a bit sensitive to those who grew up with traditional values.
I've attached a photo of the painting I mentioned-it's very well-painted, but the imagery was a bit unexpected for me.
Overall, a great spot for drinks & fusion flavors!
This is possibly the worst indian food I have ever had. The chicken was obviously not cooked in the sauce. Sauces were lacking flavour. Noisy - more emphasis on the cocktails & bar.
I am regular here & the food is excellent..I brought my company's founder & he loved the food but
**********One exception --Service -----this time was the waitress lady (with tattos, dont recall her name) was not friendly at all (all other have been really good)***********
We tried to thank her, tipped her at the end too..but this was the first time i got this kind of'cold' behavior & free education about cocktails ...its not about the words , its the body language that says everything..
I dont usually write reviews but at this level, this kind of service/cold behavior is not acceptable!
Party de Noël de notre club d'affaires réussi sur toute la ligne. Service impeccable, ambiance downtown chique, saveurs incroyables, cocktails délicieux & une belle carte des vins. Pour nous, c'est à refaire l'an prochain. Merci à toute l'équipe !

I went to India Rosa with my partner & we were seated at the bar, which had a really nice ambiance.
For starters, we ordered the tandoori chicken & pani puri. The chicken was a bit dry, but the pani puri was absolutely delicious-an explosion of flavors in your mouth! I had never experienced flavors like that before, so it was definitely a great introduction to their menu.
For mains, we had the garlic naan & lamb korma. The lamb korma was delectable, though I found the meat-to-sauce ratio a bit off-there was a lot more sauce than meat. Thankfully, the naan helped balance it out, & along with the starters, it was enough to satisfy our hunger.
Overall, the food was great, the cocktails were interesting, & while there's always room for improvement, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Un de mes restaurant préférés dans le coin. toujours un bon service, autant au bar que dans la salle à manger. La musique & l'ambiance sont parfaite aussi. Les plats sont délicieux. Cette fois j'ai pris le saumon tikka & je recommande! A chaque fois que j'y vais j'essaye un nouveau cocktail & je ne suis jamais déçu. Parfait restaurant pour une soirée filles. J'ai présenté India Rosa à plusieurs de mes amies & elles y retournent souvent maintenant!
Excellent, service au top, bons cocktails & très belle déco avec des tables assez éloignées les unes des autres pour éviter ne pas entendre les conversations des gens
C'était une excellente expérience. Beaucoup d'options sans gluten & plats savoureux, tout comme les cocktails. Le service était courtois & attentionné. C'était la fête de mon amie & sans même avoir à le demander, la serveuse (Coralie si je ne me trompe pas) à amener un dessert avec étincelles. Elle est super gentille & m'a bien informé sur les choix sans gluten. Je vais revenir prochainement !

Absolutely loved India Rosa!
The food was incredible-such a perfect mix of Indian flavors in a healthy way & French elegance, everything was so well put together. We have ordered veggie biryani which was so unique, yummy, panjir the indian crumble thats made with yogurt & healthy fruits & gooseberries with tasted like coconut payasam damnn it was the best dish we have ever had. The cocktails were absolute blast & super creative too, they have crafted exclusively i fan say. Beautiful vibe, great service. Can't wait to go back!

We went on a Friday night. The ambiance & the decore of the restaurant is incredible nice. Server knows the menu which is amazing. The food & the cocktail is incredible. We will definitely be back
