Kiss of Kashmiri was the best I've ever had. Partner was hoping for a bit more heat on the vindaloo. A great experience but be warned. It gets very loud when it's busy so either go early or be prepared to shout over music & crowd.
We visited this restaurant on August 24th while in Montreal, just hoping for a nice evening, & it turned out to be one of the great nights of our trip. We've dined here before, but this time the experience was truly top-notch.
Our host (Jeanne Sophie) was an absolute angel the sweetest, most genuine person I've met in a long time. Even on such a busy night, her energy was impeccable, her warmth made everything feel special, & she went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. She even complimented us after our meal, asked about our visit to the city, & just made us smile with her kindness. Truly, she's a gem on the team - I hope the management knows how lucky they are to have her.
The food was delicious, served right on time, & the vibe, music, & interior were all perfect. The entire staff was attentive & professional, which made the whole evening so enjoyable.
This place is a must-visit - wonderful food, great atmosphere, & absolutely incredible service. Thank you again to our lovely host for making the night unforgettable. We'll definitely be back!
Went for 8:30pm dinner with friends. Picture a nightclub that serves fabulous contemporary Indian dishes. Place was hopping. DJ'd music was dominant but not too loud. Great experience.
The ambience was good but too loud on the music part cudnt talk much. The food is great, & the service is a bit slow as it gets busy, so be prepared to wait a bit until you get seen . Over all amazing experience.
We really enjoyed our meal here & the service was good. Great flavours & very tolerable spice level (for those concerned). Photo worthy food & drink presentation too. It's a bit pricey for what you get but such is downtown Montreal.
My only complaint is that it's so so so loud when it's busy you have to shout to hear your table. Not because of the music but because it's such a big open space with nothing to break up the sound. Just something to be aware of for a date night or catch up with friends, chatting was difficult.
I loved it, food was delicious, not spicy (how I like it), very flavourful & great portions. It is a little overpriced but everything is overpriced nowadays. Restaurant was clean, big & spacious & the service was excellent. I would just add a little bit more ambiance with the music but I would recommend to anyone who likes or want to try indian food. I will definitely go back & try different things on the menu, everything looked delicious.
Positive experience. This time around the music was lowered to a decent level so that we could converse. Food was delicious (chicken tandoori & lamb chops with garlic nan. Would pass on the lentil soup). The cardamom creme brûlée for dessert was wonderful. Recommended.
Sorry we won't be going back. Music was too loud. We prefer quieter restaurants,
Surrounding sound, street, music audio, below average quality.
The food is very good but the aggressive & loud nightclub music especially during weekend brunch times really makes the experience a lot less enjoyable than it could be.
This place has such a great vibe. The food was delicious as it looked. I love the music & the atmosphere they created!
The food was incredible, chicken tandorri was so juicy & bouncy XD! The waitress was super kind & was not overbearing. Music was a bit loud at time but not overwhelming & good ambiance
We got the mushroom paneer & seekh kebab as appetizers, & for the main courses, we had garlic naan, malai kofta, & pepper paneer. All the dishes were very well made, & the presentation was exquisite. The service was also excellent. The DJ was doing a great job with the music. Highly recommend!
Great vibe, music, service, cocktails & food! Nothing negative to say! Will return soon!
Great food & decor. The music was too loud for 7pm we couldn't hear each other.
I loved it here the food was spicy & delicious. Only music was too loud we were shouting to speak if you wanna get together to speak with your friends you have to shout. The service was good. & the staff were nice.
Everything was perfect including food & service. Music was too loud though for a family style dinner, we couldn't have a proper conversation with our friends.
