Le lieu est beau & bien décoré. La cuisine est variée & très bonne. Les pains naans sont UN RÉGAL. Service très agréable.
Le seul « bémol » est que l'on devrait pouvoir trouver plus de vin ou bière sans alcool.
Went there for my birthday, if ur going there def get the garlic naan absolutely phenomenal
the food, the service, the ambience was everything! our server was super kind & caring! everything about it was perfect & I'd definitely recommend to others! I had the madras chicken (not pictured) with garlic naan as my main & it was delicious.
Decided to try this place. Extremely nice & friendly & attentive staff. ordered the malay shrimps & for me it just doesn't connect, the lamb chops were very tasty so was the butter chicken. The naan could use some fluff but decent regardless. Biriani was good, nothing exceptional but it has nice tasty crunchy fried onions
side note: don't book a table next to the window bays. they don't seal properly & it got cold. the staff did offer to move us but we were already settled.
I went to India Rosa with my partner & we were seated at the bar, which had a really nice ambiance.
For starters, we ordered the tandoori chicken & pani puri. The chicken was a bit dry, but the pani puri was absolutely delicious-an explosion of flavors in your mouth! I had never experienced flavors like that before, so it was definitely a great introduction to their menu.
For mains, we had the garlic naan & lamb korma. The lamb korma was delectable, though I found the meat-to-sauce ratio a bit off-there was a lot more sauce than meat. Thankfully, the naan helped balance it out, & along with the starters, it was enough to satisfy our hunger.
Overall, the food was great, the cocktails were interesting, & while there's always room for improvement, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Delicious & authentic Indian cuisine in a cozy setting. The butter chicken & garlic naan were standout dishes. Highly recommend!
Amazing food, & amazing service! Went there for brunch last Saturday & I had a phenomenal butter chicken with naan bread. Very happy to live right next door!
I will rate this restaurant 4.5 out of 5, -0.5 because it's a bit too expensive for Indian food but the food here is good. The brunch is also really exquisite which is a modern twist to Indian food. I had the fried naan with chickpeas for brunch. For dinner, I got the garlic naan with butter chicken- the butter chicken is really creamy & delicious. Also got mango lassi which tastes good as well. I recommend this restaurant.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, & even better service. We had the biryani & lamb, both of which were fantastic, but it was a bit disappointing that naan wasn't included. Another downside is that it's on the pricier side, but honestly, the quality of the food & service more than make up for it.
Decent service. Felt a little dry but nothing dramatic overall. The rice & naan bread aren't included with sauces & it does add up to your bill in a way that can feel a little annoying. Their dessert are very underrated. Gulab Jamun by far their best. Great spot!
Very trendy & modern restaurant but food is mediocre! We ordered chicken butter, tikka & madras they lacked taste, they were made with thighs not even breast meat & quantity was tiny. We are used to authentic Indian food with lots of herbs & spices. We ordered many plates to share but they were all bad. The sheesh kebab entree & Naan were good tho. It's the second time I try this resto but it's my last! Service was very good.
We came on a Monday (during holiday season) & we usually come for the brunch (which is only offered on weekends). Since it was during the holidays I thought they might be offering the brunch (wishful thinking). So this review is for their non brunch menu. Anyways, the dishes we ordered: chicken tikka tandoori- it was super tender & beautifully presented, the Lamb Kashmiri - super flavourful & the malai kofta was like an Indian style gnocchi- I found the sauce to be creamy but not so spicy/flavorful but this was more a dish for my daughter. The cheese naan was great too. Service was attentive, our water was filled without asking & she checked in on us every once in awhile. The decor at this location is so colourful & love the high ceilings. Overall just a great classy place. It is a bit on the high price for Indian food. But with great service & ambiance it's worth it. One thing I did notice was that their sauces weren't "heavy" or greasy as in some of the mom & pop Indian restaurants.
The food is average but the prices are on the higher side. The biryani didn't hit the mark-it tasted more like pulao, with an unexpected overload of chat masala that doesn't belong in traditional biryani, leaving the chicken bland & flavorless. The chicken korma, however, was decent, & garlic naan was enjoyable-both soft & crispy. Cocktails are pricey, & while they're decent, they're nothing beyond what you'd get at a typical restaurant. Come for the ambiance, but don't expect exceptional food.
I think it is the most stylish & trendy Indian restaurant in town. The ambience is chic & open. The golden accents & wallpapers of exotic trees & birds take you to another dimension. The food & drinks are delicious as well, but not on par with the ambience. I ordered the butter chicken & naan & it was delicious. Totally recommend it for a date night or a hang out with friends over some tasty drinks
I recently went for an anniversary dinner with my boyfriend, & we had a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional across the board-every dish we tried was delicious. We ordered a selection of tapas, the biryani rice, & butter chicken, all of which were spot-on. The only small critique I have is that the garlic naan could have used a touch more salt, but it didn't take away from how much we enjoyed the meal. When we mentioned to the waitress that we were celebrating our anniversary, she surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, it was a great experience, & I highly recommend it!
I took my friends who were visiting from out of town to India Rosa, & they were really impressed with the food quality & vibe. We shared three dishes: butter chicken, curry cod fish, & a potato & veggie dish. Each came with rice & naan, & the portions were generous. The cocktails were excellent, & the service was good. Overall, great value for the experience!
Really nice spacious place, staff was great! The butter chicken brunch option is literally the best version of butter chicken I ever had, chicken was cooked perfectly & I could have buckets of the sauce. Loved the onion naan too!
