Pretty steep pricing for indian food versus a Jean-Talon indian place for example, but the atmostphere, crowd & context is totally not the same...
Not a vast menu but the food was very good, even for those who were trying Indian food for the first time. The only thing is that the waiter was not keeping track of who ordered what, so he divided the bill amongst us, which was not fair. He asked for one of us to come with him to decipher who ordered what, which is the first time that I've seen that. Aside from that, I have no complaints 😊
Service was good. Food was bland. I was told it was designed to be indian fusion. Go somewhere else
Tasty & colorful elevated indian dishes ! The cocktails are really unique & the food has a lot of interesting spices without necessarily being too spicy. The waiters made sure that everything was to our liking & overall the service was great ! I recommend.
Its a great place to have indian food , its definitely a premium restaurant with great ambience , Food quality & presentation is pretty good , My only complaint would be the quantity of starters , I wish they could increase the quantity of the starters for the price. But overall Highly Recommended.
It's sort of an indian experimental fusion place, I think the food hits the halfway mark but definitely doesn't feel right for the price.
Best Indian food Ever! Excellent service & great prices! Will sure go again
We found this restaurant on Google & our love of Indian food drew us here during our weekend stay in Montreal. Upon entry, it was not at all what we were expecting. There was a live DJ & the dining room was packed with a nightclub vibe. Since it was a Saturday at 9pm, we went along with it & sat down with menus. Our server was very friendly & knew the menu well. We ordered a bottle of wine, followed by two tapas & a main to share. Now, the food was absolutely incredible! We had the tandoori mushrooms to start, which were stuffed with paneer (I believe), marinated in spices & grilled. Phenomenal! The channa masala we had to share was perhaps the most flavourful I have ever had, with each spice & note hitting the pallet at just the right time. Our next visit would probably take place during the week, though if you enjoy a lively dining experience Saturday is your night! All in all a great date night, & fabulous food. Thank you for everything.
Great brunch food & vibe. We went there with a group of friends & they accommodated few extra people that showed up as part of our group. The set up was quick & easy. We celebrated our sons birthday & they waitress was very friendly & warming to the occasion. The food & drinks were great. Food was brunch with a slight touch of Indian cusine. Recommended to anyone looking to try this fusion brunch.
Best Indian restaurant in town with the nicest staff! I'll definitely be coming back to try out more dishes. ☺️
This was by far one of the best upscale Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The ambience is super classy & modern, it was Friday night so there was a Dj spinning, which added to the vibe. The service was wonderful. Despite being fully booked, they hostess & manager did some magic & got us a table 45 minutes before our reso. Thanks for doing that! The cocktails that our waitress recommended were spot on. She was able to match our taste preferences to the perfect cocktail for both of us. Now the food. Because in the past, restaurants who have pumped a lot of money into the ambience, sometimes can miss marks on the food. Not the case here. The appetizers were unique & very tasty. We ordered the Tandoori Mushrooms & Vegetables. The mains were also very tasty loved the Garlic Naan. The Malai Kofta was creamy & flavourful. Overall an incredible experience! If we lived in Montreal this would be our go to spot for a fun upscale Indian dinner date!
Very fancy place, well decorated & with excellent & genuine Indian food. Just a little bit noisy but a good one to have fun with friends.
Great place for brunch. Place was busy & had a nice chill atmosphere. Food was great. Indian twist of classic brunch fare. Ordered chicken & waffles, sweet waffles, butter chicken Benedict, salmon & bagel. Everything was delicious. Service was impeccable. Friendly, attentive & observant. Will definitely come back for brunch. Want to try dinner as well.
This is a beautiful dining spot in the heart of Griffintown. While the food is fairly average for Indian food, the cocktails & ambience more than make up for it. We ordered the tiki drinks (I prefer the guru over the sweeter & more tropical bhangra), which were both delicious (like mango juice) & highly instagrammable. We also ordered the beautiful pink Pisco Sour. For lunch we ordered the chicken biryani (decent) & lamb vindaloo (not very spicy).ocll
The real taste of india . I tried almost all the Indian & pakistani restaurants in Montreal but india rosa is the best i found, they are very professionals & the quality of food is excellent. I like their appetizers for the new year eve menu was great Definitely will go there again
Downtown Montreal has been due for a great Indian restaurant for ages (since Curry House on Bishop closed ages ago) & you deliver. Very minor imperfections: drink order took far too long to place & receive & the samosas were very disappointing (pasty & just not very good). Everything else, from the tapas to the biryani to the cod to the aloo gobi & tarka dhal were outstanding. Carnivores & vegetarians & even those of us with dairy allergies were over the moon in your fabulous restaurant. The server was polite & competent & very pleasant. The ambiance was so chill & trendy & simply perfect. Will recommend & return.
Great food & interior, but awful service. I really liked the food & concept of an Indian fusion restaurant. Our waitress took 30 minutes take our order (even for drinks), & didn't bring napkins & salt after we had requested them. Extremely slow service & not that many people there. She got upset after I left a low tip. For a higher end brunch I'd expect much better service.
Perfect for a girls night out. I don't drink, so food quality is important for me & it did not disappoint. I judge Indian restaurants by their naan & this was goooood. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive. Decor is on trend. I have to try their brunch!
