About us
To create a new Indian culinary experience that would represent what we’re all about and gather all communities with a distinct bar of high-quality cocktails, letting our customers discover not only our fabulous gastronomy but also our traditional Indian beverages and drinks. That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.
We wanted to concoct the perfect symbiosis between our culture and the Montreal spirit we have known and lived for more than 30 years!

Superbe restaurant, ambiance très branchée. Notre serveuses (Annabelle) donne un service A1. Excellente description des cocktails & plats - nous avons opté pour qu'elle choisisse des tapas & plats principaux, ce qui a été fait judicieusement! Le nourriture est excellente. Probablement la meilleure de tous les restos indiens où je suis allé.

It was my first visit to this spot. It is a trendy, tapas based beautiful spot with a great vibe. Our waitress, Anna, was amazing. She knew the menu well & provided great suggestions for us to order. They have a great cocktail menu. However, my cocktail, the Jaipur, was the only disappointment of the evening. It had a smokey flavour which overpowered the whole cocktail. The lamb chops in the tapas section recommended by Anna were absolutely scrumptious. Perfectly cooked & juicy. The cod was also very good with a tasty chutney served with it. We also had samosas & a soup. As a main, we had the chicken Tikka Masala which was good. We had a great night out in a hotspot in Griffintown.

I loved everything that we ordered execpt the cocktail ( a bit too bitter & strong for me) but their Gulab Jamun , oh girl, those just came straight from heaven 😍 , & they prepare those by themselves- I so wanted to have the recipe but guess what I will come to India Rosa (Griff.) again n again just to have those jamuns 😘😘

The food is average but the prices are on the higher side. The biryani didn't hit the mark-it tasted more like pulao, with an unexpected overload of chat masala that doesn't belong in traditional biryani, leaving the chicken bland & flavorless. The chicken korma, however, was decent, & garlic naan was enjoyable-both soft & crispy. Cocktails are pricey, & while they're decent, they're nothing beyond what you'd get at a typical restaurant. Come for the ambiance, but don't expect exceptional food.

The place is really nice. It was a great ambiance when we got there but then it got loud very fast & we had a hard time hear each other talking. Both the appetizers & cocktails were excellent & unique for an indian restaurant. However we were disappointed with our main course( butter chicken & korma lamb), it lacked flavour & spices for indian food, the butter chicken was not chicken breast & everything was lukewarm.

I took my friends who were visiting from out of town to India Rosa, & they were really impressed with the food quality & vibe. We shared three dishes: butter chicken, curry cod fish, & a potato & veggie dish. Each came with rice & naan, & the portions were generous. The cocktails were excellent, & the service was good. Overall, great value for the experience!

My favourite Indian restaurant in Montreal. The service is always 10/10. The food is inventive, creative, without sparing authenticity, & the price point is very fair considering the quality of the ingredients used. Amazing bar staff team as well (shoutout to Mitch). Their cocktails are always on point & delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🔟/10! Service au bar par deux (jeunes) employés gentils, attentionnés, polis. Très belle ambiance, un très beau resto, chic! Les cocktails sont préparés avec soin, différents, & tellement bons, comme le Mlle Rosa garnie de sa branche de thym qui a été légèrement enflammée avant de m'être servi, un délice! En 10-12 minutes, on nous a servi les crevettes Malai: crevettes géantes marinées à la cardamone & aux noix de cajou: qui gouttent le ciel, & ensuite le Poulet au beurre: tendres morceaux de poulet désossés, marinés au yogourt & épices indiennes, cuits dans une sauce crème & tomates 😋. C'était délicieux!! Belle carte de vins! Prix raisonnables.

Super experience in Griffintown. Excellent service & atmosphere. Great cocktails. Some of the Indian plates were, for those very familiar with South Asian food, a bit "heavy", as if some cream had been added here or there. But, in general, a thoroughly enjoyable night.
