About us
To create a new Indian culinary experience that would represent what we’re all about and gather all communities with a distinct bar of high-quality cocktails, letting our customers discover not only our fabulous gastronomy but also our traditional Indian beverages and drinks. That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.
We wanted to concoct the perfect symbiosis between our culture and the Montreal spirit we have known and lived for more than 30 years!

Belle ambiance, très beau restaurant , chaleureux & vivant. Nous y avons été un vendredi soir & il y avait un DJ avec de la très bonne musique. Le staff est très gentil. La nourriture est très bonne, mais ce n'est vraiment pas le meilleur indien selon moi. Ne soyez pas surpris lorsque vous recevrez votre facture, le restaurant charge pour boire de l'eau plate (oui oui, 6$ pour avoir bu de l'eau plate!!!!!!!!) vraiment ridicule. Nous avons commandé une bouteille de vin à 81$, le serveur revient dix minutes pour tard avec une autre bouteille qui ressemble à celui commandé, car il n'ont plus mon premier choix. Je lui demande s'il peut la faire au même prix considérant que ce n'était pas mon choix. Il me dit que la bouteille est 2-3$ de plus. Finalement sur la facture, la bouteille est à 89$...... Prévoyez aussi un budget pour le stationnement intérieur tout près (15$), car impossible de se stationner sans frais autour. Anyway, très belle soirée & beau resto!View more

I love the India Rosa in the plateau, so we decided to come to the one in Griffintown for a change. The restaurant is beautiful, & the food was delicious. However, when we received our bills, we were shocked to see that we were charged $6 to the table for regular water. We asked the waitress & she said its because the tap water isn't drinkable due to the construction at the moment. We all thought it was ridiculous. I'm sorry, but we were 4 people with each a bill of $75+. The least they could do is cover the water, I have NEVER seen this in a restaurant before. The waitress didnt even warn us, if we would of known we had to pay for water, we would have taken sparkling water instead... Very cheap of this restaurant. Will definitely only being going back to the one in the Plateau.View more

By far the worst service in any restaurant I have ever seen. You need binoculars to find a waiter. Been here two times & both occasions we waited 45 minutes to be served/receive the bill. Food portions are slim & very average. High prices of the dishes are justified by the trendy atmosphere. Do yourself a favour & pick another place for brunch.View more

This was by far one of the best upscale Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The ambience is super classy & modern, it was Friday night so there was a Dj spinning, which added to the vibe. The service was wonderful. Despite being fully booked, they hostess & manager did some magic & got us a table 45 minutes before our reso. Thanks for doing that! The cocktails that our waitress recommended were spot on. She was able to match our taste preferences to the perfect cocktail for both of us. Now the food. Because in the past, restaurants who have pumped a lot of money into the ambience, sometimes can miss marks on the food. Not the case here. The appetizers were unique & very tasty. We ordered the Tandoori Mushrooms & Vegetables. The mains were also very tasty loved the Garlic Naan. The Malai Kofta was creamy & flavourful. Overall an incredible experience! If we lived in Montreal this would be our go to spot for a fun upscale Indian dinner date!View more

The food was great, as always. Unfortunately this time I was disappointed with the service. A bit slow to get our cocktails even though the place wasn t busy. & the team seemed very inexperienced (spilled water & tea while service, removed plates when we were still eating). I will still go back but I think service can be I mproved.View more

Great place for brunch. Place was busy & had a nice chill atmosphere. Food was great. Indian twist of classic brunch fare. Ordered chicken & waffles, sweet waffles, butter chicken Benedict, salmon & bagel. Everything was delicious. Service was impeccable. Friendly, attentive & observant.
