About us
To create a new Indian culinary experience that would represent what we’re all about and gather all communities with a distinct bar of high-quality cocktails, letting our customers discover not only our fabulous gastronomy but also our traditional Indian beverages and drinks. That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.
We wanted to concoct the perfect symbiosis between our culture and the Montreal spirit we have known and lived for more than 30 years!

It is a bit expensive but worthy it. Not familiar with indian name of dishes, the curry actually comes with lamb, I asked them to change to chicken. Good spicy I really enjoyed. Friendly staffs, decent meal.View more

Super experience in Griffintown. Excellent service & atmosphere. Great cocktails. Some of the Indian plates were, for those very familiar with South Asian food, a bit "heavy", as if some cream had been added here or there. But, in general, a thoroughly enjoyable night.View more

We visited the place fir lunch with group of friends. The food tasted really good although the portions were on the small side for the price. The ambiance is really nice & welcoming. The service was not very professional, I expected more from a place with this price range. I recommend the Indian beer but stay away from the chai. The butter chicken is really well prepared, which I cannot say for the most of the Indian places in the city.View more

It's good place for drinks, but food is disappointing even compared to the one on Mont Royal. Indian food in Montreal is generally a disappointment especially when it is just limited to Punjabi/South Indian dishes. Food menu remains static, there is no consistency from one year to another, & since 2019 (India Rosa on Mont Royal) the quality of Indian dishes has fallen.View more

The only thing is that the waiter was not keeping track of who ordered what, so he divided the bill amongst us, which was not fair. We found this restaurant on Google & our love of Indian food drew us here during our weekend stay in Montreal. Upon entry, it was not at all what we were expecting. There was a live DJ & the dining room was packed with a nightclub vibe. Since it was a Saturday at 9pm, we went along with it & sat down with menus. Our server was very friendly & knew the menu well. We ordered a bottle of wine, followed by two tapas & a main to share. Now, the food was absolutely incredible! We had the tandoori mushrooms to start, which were stuffed with paneer (I believe), marinated in spices & grilled. Phenomenal! The channa masala we had to share was perhaps the most flavourful I have ever had, with each spice & note hitting the pallet at just the right time. Our next visit would probably take place during the week, though if you enjoy a lively dining experience Saturday is your night! All in all a great date night, & fabulous food.
