About us
To create a new Indian culinary experience that would represent what we’re all about and gather all communities with a distinct bar of high-quality cocktails, letting our customers discover not only our fabulous gastronomy but also our traditional Indian beverages and drinks. That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.
We wanted to concoct the perfect symbiosis between our culture and the Montreal spirit we have known and lived for more than 30 years!

via LibroWe've had outstanding brunches at the original Plateau location. We were not disappointed with the Griffintown one. Better space but same perfect meals: balance between sweet & savoury make brunch standbys unique, texture is part of the pleasure & looks make each dish appetising. Friendly service. Fantastic!
via LibroWe had the waffles with pineapple & yogurt & lamb Benedict & they were both divinely good. The plates & presentation is gorgeous & the dishes are a beautiful Indian twist on brunch favorites. Service is kind & thoughtful.
via LibroFood was good but chicken waffle bit too oily though. Coffee was lovely! nice staff, lovely decor & very chic restaurant. But still bit too pricey for brunch. Two people having brunch is almost $100...that's mad!!
via LibroJ'ai eue un coup de coeur immédiat pour ce restaurant - Griffintown. Je recevais beaucoup d'annonce ciblée sur les réseaux sociaux, croyant, à tort, que c'était un endroit plus tape-à-l'oeil. Nous avons commandé des assiettes pour le brunch. Les oeufs benny façon poulet au beurre est une assiette belle pour les yeux, certes, & généreuse! Mais cette assiette est véritable coup de maitre pour les papilles. Onctueuse, veloutée, sans grumeau, ni séparation, bien équilibrée entre les épices, la tomate & l'acidité, la sauce mérite le détour. J'ai adoré. Tout était beau & parfait.

Très bonne ambiance, service efficace de nous asseoir à nous apportez la nourriture. J'ai trouvé étrange qu'il n'y avait it pas des Indiens en tant que serveurs ou gérants, je m'y serais attendu puisque c'était un restaurant indien?
Alors que le service général était bon, la nourriture était décevante. La qualité & la présentation de la nourriture n'étaient pas aussi bonnes que prévu.
1. La diplomate - Ce cocktail a été recommandé par le serveur, c'était une boisson très jolie & assez rafraîchissante, bien qu'un peu trop aigre. Hors de prix quand même !
2. Mango Lassi / Americano / Fried naan - Rien de remarquable à ce sujet. . ils allaient bien. Le lassi à la mangue était le plus remarquable parmi les trois, c'était assez rafraîchissant & pas trop sucré.
3. Pain dore - C'était un peu décevant. Ce n'étaient pas de vrais toasts français, juste du pain grillé ordinaire avec de la chapelure (il n'avait pas le moelleux associé à un pain perdu). Juste une poignée de fruits étaient fournis & très peu de sirop d'érable & de yaourt.
4. Omelette d'agneau - L'omelette était très sèche, fade & n'avait pratiquement pas d'agneau farci. Les pommes de terre servies à côté étaient excellentes, probablement la meilleure partie de notre brunch !
5. Popcorn Shrimp Biryani - C'était bien, mais vous ne pouvez pas appeler cela un biryani, c'était plutôt un pulav. Il manquait le punch de saveur normalement associé à un biryani & la quantité était très inférieure. Les oeufs brouillés & les crevettes étaient fades. Dans l'ensemble ce plat était passable mais rien d'extraordinaire.
Je recommanderais cet endroit si vous venez prendre un verre, des collations & une bonne ambiance mais probablement pas pour un repas complet.

via LibroI went there for brunch & got the lamb benedict. All I have to say is that it was EXCELLENT. Our server was great & the food is by far one of the best I've had in the area. I highly recommend everyone to go there. I will come back for dinner!!!

Server was nice (his 2nd day on the job); had a group of 4. I ordered the vegan brunch but was told it would cost extra next time to remove the egg for chickpeas? Really? That's not an appropriate response for an item listed as vegan on demand.

via LibroReally nice restaurant for Brunch & or Dinner! I tried both & I was really impressed by the plates. Really loved it & I recommend it big time!!
via LibroService was slow even though it was at the end of the brunch service & there were less people at the restaurant. We waited a long time to have our drinks. The drinks were all delicious, very happy with that. The food was nice but not worth the price point. I want to try more things on their menu before giving an opinion. I will be eating there again, the atmosphere is really nice. However, from my experience so far, I would suggest serving the biryani in more practical crockery to eat. I couldn't enjoy it fully as I spent time trying to make sure the rice didn't fall over. Hope to have a better experience next time!
